i have a 16 TRD Offroad and I've added a Pro grill since I didn't like the chrome look, now chrome bumpers really stick out...is there such thing as an OEM or aftermarket bumper cap either in black or color matched for this truck?? There are no sensors on my bumper..thanks!!

    Nope.

    Total replacement.

Search here and you'll find a couple walk thru how-to vids.

No you would remove your chrome end caps and then replace them with the black primered which you would have to have paint matched at a body shop. I had chrome and replaced them with color-matched silver that I purchased from a TW member. You could also just leave the black primered caps on as I think they're an upgrade from the chrome.

If you want them black, then you can always PlastiDip the chrome caps.

Ok, knowing that anything I did was reversible, I decided to go to plasti – dip last night. I went to Lowe's and bought some plasti-dip some masking paper and masking tape and did about six coats with 20 to 30 minutes in between. Although I made a couple small mistakes, one being some overspray which I was able to clear up and one small area where I peeled a small piece off, I'm pretty happy with the results knowing that I could rip it off at any time. Being that I already changed the grill to a Pro grill, the chrome bumper really stood out. So far I am very happy with the results. I think that it's also not a bad idea to have the bumpers covered during the winter months. In the spring I could peel them off and put a fresh layer on next fall, if they hold up. I'll post some pics later on but All in all a pretty good way to spend $13. I must admit it's bizarre to rattle-can a pricey pick up truck!!
