Bumper cover part from Toyota Question

Having trouble verifying if the bumper covers come painted from Toyota or just black or chrome.
I need to replace my drivers side bumper cover in Magnetic grey 1G3 color.
Neither an online store or my local dealer has been able to verify if the parts come painted yet online it says they do. Has anyone ordered these painted?

I can confirm that the replacement rear bumper covers do not come painted from the factory. I had to replace my right one twice in the last 6 months and getting them painted from the factory ready to install is not an option.

 

Thanks for the reply. Strange that online I have seen painted, unpainted, chrome and then sensor hole or no sensor hole. Yet, My local dealers parts dept is clueless about the part. Guess I will have to get a new one painted.

You are welcome...unless the two dealerships I contacted in Seattle are wrong, painted versions don’t exist. My insurance adjuster also let me know that Toyota does not supply the bumper covers painted to match...side mirror covers as well in the event you ever need to replace those.

 

My truck was hit by someone while parked at work. Hit and run as the police call it. They hit the bumper cover and the drivers side rear of bed (metal) is creased and paint is missing. A small streak of white leads me to a van or pickup truck. I have been searching the parking lot at work. Nothing yet. Probably someones work vehicle. Anyway I have to get this fixed soon.
