Hey AZ Tacoma owners. I recently got a BA front bumper and seeing if anyone has any experience with cutting the front bumper or recommendations for a shop to install. The install part seems easy it’s the cutting that I have no experience with. I’m willing to help and throw in cash, beer, etc for the cutting process.

Try posting in the AZ BS Thread 4.2. I'm sure there's someone in there who can help you with this.

I used a cut off wheel on an air tool. Tape the bumper and draw the line with a marker. Measure your line against fixed points and make sure its symmetrical and straight. The installation is a little forgiving if your a little short but, not if your long. And, the plastic goes BEHIND the tabs:cheers:

Use painter's tape and sharpie your line first. Stand back and verify that your line is somewhat symmetrical on the underside.

They recommend a small jigsaw, but I found a Dremel wheel made short and clean work of it. (Have spare wheels on hand. :anonymous:) The included gasket will conceal minor mistakes, so don't sweat it too much. Just like painting, the work lies in the prep, the actual cutting is a cakewalk.

I’ve had my BA bumper sitting in my garage for more than a year because my haven’t worked up the courage to take a dremel to the bumper lol

Used an oscillating tool with the rounded blase. Super easy to control and very clean cut.
