Bumper has a gap under taillight

Why is my pic coming out like it's shot in the 80's

 

Because the 80s were The Best! It does seem a little more on driverside

 

Do you have a filter setting on the camera?

 

This is very common on these tacomas. These bumpers are bolted on and they can be adjusted. You may need to watch a few videos on YouTube on how to do it.

It may help to check the bed alignment as well (they come misaligned too )

I’m surprised when I see a Tacoma with a bumper that isn’t slightly misaligned. It’s not an anomaly, I’m pretty sure it’s the specification. Seriously, look at the bumpers of every third gen most are slightly misaligned on one side or the other. I was fortunate enough to also have a slightly misaligned bumper since new, don’t want to be one of the weird rare dead level and evenly spaced bumper people.

 

I've had 3 3rd gen's and none of them were straight. I fixed my first one. And just let it go on my last 2. Most people never pay attention and I don't let it bother me, if I need to I'll align it myself if it becomes a problem to me.

I have a steel bumper...….

 

I know I’m a little late to the party but any tutorials on how to do this? I just picked up my 22 OR and my bed is not aligned with the cab. OCD is kicking in.

 

Might want to go to the dealership for that. I doubt they'll charge you since its under warranty

 

They are definitely getting a call in the morning.
