Hey if you decide to change it media blast it back to raw metal and do a flat clear coat on it. That would look sick.

From those pictures you can hardly tell it’s not the same color. I honestly think it looks really good.

Looks okay to me. Maybe the color is off just a little but I would run as is, not a big deal.

So, the second set of pictures is the bumper without any color coating. Sorry I didn't clarify. The powder coating is actually so much lighter.

Thinking I could update here since I ran into more issues with this bumper. I finally had the bumper painted black and went to install and it will not align. No matter what I do the left side of the tailgate comes in contact with this bumper. I'm stumped. I've added shims to get it to clear but its still not a good alignment. I posted pictures earlier in this thread of the bumper before being powder coated and you can see how it lines up. My only guess is that my cab is out of whack or my frame is warped. I have to mention that there's a history with this truck. When I bought the truck I noticed the tailgate didn't line up with the bed on the left side. After some investigation I noticed the bushing was jammed all the way in. Also, that the tailgate itself had a noticeable repairs done. It's as if somone backed into something with the tailgate down. I don't think the frame is damaged, but what do I know. Unfortunately the dealer didn't disclose this to me and there was no Carfax report. Any suggestions on how to check the cab or does anyone have an aftermarket bumper that didnt align. Thanks for all the support in advance.

Did you have it completely installed previously? If so bed might might be out of alignment more than before. I’m not sure if bed stiffeners would help? Sorry for the troubles :annoyed:
