bumper valance -paint or not ?

    hello everyone i just dechromed my 02 mystic gold dc ,got rid of my chrome grille, rear bumper and front bumper ,black headlights black corners and a custom made slotted perforated stainless grille(powdered matte black) .i want to color key my parts but im not sure if i should go ahead and do the lower valance as well i havent seen many people do and wondering if its just preference or people having issues with getting the paint to adhere to the lower section on the front bumper.anyway comments /opinions welcomed

    I have painted mine and like it. You just have to use a plastic primer to make sure it sticks.[​IMG]

    Wet Okole Seat covers Heated seats
    Looks Good. My truck is the silver lunar mist, and Ive been debating whether to paint mine. Leaning towards painting it silver to match the truck.

    Spray can, or body shop?

    Body shop if you want it to look good..
    Spray can is cheaper but you will not get a good, lasting product.

    I debated between just doing the valance silver to match the truck (my truck was color keyed with silver bumpers and fender flares), or doing the whole two-tone thing to be different. I decided to do the bumpers, fender flares, bull bar, step bars and bottom part of doors and it all was $700.00

    Unfortunately I did magnetic gray metallic, because I liked the color, but now I think it is too dark. I should have gone a little lighter. If it was spray can it would have been a cheap fix to redo it. But at least it is a quality job and the color is growing on me.
