After having a run in with 3 deer at once, was looking into off road bumpers...got stuck on a Demello front bumper. But what is needed in addition to add to the truck to compensate for the weight?

A new front suspension is never a bad idea. One of the "big three" preferably.

If you're gonna drop a winch in there, custom higher-rate springs may be a good idea too.

I want to add to what sandman said, yea its gunna take a little more homework to get final pricing. I say this only because there will be alot of options available to whomever wants to purchase one. So we want to have all that figured before its tossed out there for sales.

For the aluminum bumpers out there... are they heat treated after they are all welded together?

Plus what grade of aluminum is used?

( I figure this only applies to Aluminess and Relentless?)

Hi all. I am getting some insurance money to replace my color keyed rear bumper, and am thinking of getting an off-road rear plate bumper. I don't do off-roading but figured I'll never have to deal with dented/scratched rear bumper anymore, and save some of the insurance money as its a cheaper option, and use it on repairing a few other dings.

I want one of the cleaner looking ones that follows the lines of the truck, more or less, but would like one to accommodate my existing hitch receiver. Are there any that fit both criteria that anybody has had experience with and can recommend?

Also, is there any significant weight difference that would affect mpg or is it a non factor?
