I'd recommend removing the Padgett Fabrications bumper. The thread linking the redesign is using my vehicle. And I've never actually seen the completed bumper, 3 months after giving my vehicle to him. So I'm calling the bumper vaporware.

A full writeup of the experience for those interested.

yeah i'm not sure why on the frame winch mount bumper support bracket they leave you slotted holes for horizontal adjustment when the center bolts have that piece that just buts right up against you body mount? the holes are there but there is still no way you can adjust the bumper side to side very strange.

but i love it and it would have taken me three weeks with out oswegos help man did he help me out this time the amount of hardware left over is astonishing!

the strange little crush / caged bolts that the bumper mounts up with are going to be replaced with all grade 8 hard ware i think it just does not seem right to me. i know arb designed it to work a certain way but i want confidence in how the actual bull bar mounts to the bracket.

also does anyone know how to wire up the day time running lights i noticed when i had the turn signal apart that there is a separate bulb for them which is cool seeing as how my truck does not have factory dtrl i figured i would ask?

i just received a package from 4wp's they sent me the wiring harness model MD02 to make the connections to the arb fog lights and turn signals so any advice on how to make the dtrl lights work would really help me out at this point.

here is the finished product i took the turn signals apart and blacked the reflector out to give them a smoked appearance with out really effecting their usefulness.

Only excuse I got was subcontractor delays. apparently he doesn't actually fabricate things himself, so it was always some contractor was late on some part. Eventually had to give up on it.

Guess it's time to go with one of the proven vendors.

Awesome thread! Glad to see our bumper on here as well as all the others thanks for putting us on the list!! Here is a link to add www.infamousmetalworks.com and check out our facebook for additional build threads and pictures.

Here is a few better pictures and details of the bumper:

-1.75'' main tube .120 wall DOM.
-1.5'' .120 wall DOM side gusset tubes.
-Bulkhead is 3/16'' an 1/8'' plate keyed and tabbed construction.
    -1/4" 5052 aluminum skids.
-Bolt on style, 3 point attachment for added strength (stock bumper reinforcement 6 studs, radiator bolt tie-in, and lower sub-frame flanged tie-in) .
-2wd and 4wd version that works with aftermarket skid plates from bud built or all-pro.

Padgett Fab has been flagged in this thread until further notice. Thanks for the heads up.

Gotta provide TW Members with a complete list. Thank ktmrider for the listing, as he brought your bumpers to my attention!

I dig the design but why is it bolted up top and welded on the bottom?

So its flanged on the bottom. I would really like use non-interlocking tube clamps in my production version. This bumper does have some welding required for installation, but its the best way I have came up with so far for strength/removability. Also here are some pictures of the attachment points up close.

Just saw this. Nice job. Thanks for all your work. My aluminum foil rear bumper is F'd up from a 0 mph hit. What would be the best way to determine what bumper I should buy ? Any suggestions appreciated.

Every bumper listed has so many options that it would be very difficult to provide the weight as it can change very easily depending on a bumper.
