I have had mine now for several off road trips, and just back from a 4 state run. Got compliments the whole way. The fit and finish is tops

    Stupid Question Alert -

Would installing the relentless front bumper on my stock 2011 TRD sport allow for bigger tires without a suspension lift? I guess I'm thinking it may allow them not to rub? Does this make sense? Thanks! Any opinions on why I shouldn't do this first? And does the stock skid work with that bumper..?

The Bumper won't directly allow larger tires as there are other factors (majority of rub is at back of fenderwells) but when it comes to lift and stuffing the largest tire possible then it does have much more clearance than factory bumper in front of the tires.
Doing a bumper prior to lifting isn't bad, though the factory suspension will suffer a tad from the additional weight. Installing the lift after the bumper means you can then choose the proper components to handle the additional weight vs lifting with intention of adding weight and the lift either raising the truck too much and/or riding too stiff without the weight of the bumper.
Stock skid and all aftermarket skids I know of will work with my bumper.
Thanks for your interest, feel free to PM me if you have further questions.

here is the one i built for my 2008, i never got to finish it i ran out of time and then i sold the truck.

i liked that i could step on it,
i loved that it was solid
i liked the reviever for my winch

i hated the little worthless lights (they were free and i planned to go bigger in the future

the next one i build will be much much better because ill do it at home and have all the time i need no rush.

I also planned on cutting the auxilary crossmember off the frame in the front of the 2008 and moving it up to frame level but sold the truck before i did anything else.

EDIT: It was also too heavy at 120lbs without winch

For you guys who have plate bumpers, do you have them on your daily driver or only for off road?

Daily driver. I personally enjoy never having to worry about little scratches and scrapes on the bumper, like if I'm pushing a cart and it rolls into my bumper.

If I didn't go offroad, I probably would never have purchased one for my car though.

Ha yeah they're great for shopping carts. I clipped one doing 40mph(on purpose) that someone decided to leave in the street a few blocks from the store.... sent it flying with only a chip of paint on the bumper!
They also help for those who like parallel park by braille as well. ;)

    yea.. those guys haha

i need sliders on my taco when i get the spare coin so i dont get any more door dings.

right now i park in places where i am alone. when i had my 2012 the day after i got it i parked in a section of 4 spaces on the end, then the third space down and half of the second was taken by a truck driver who couldnt park, and someone kindly decided to park in what was left of my space and the 2nd space leaving maybe a few inches between my drivers door and thier car.

after i climbed in the passenger door, i made a phone call to my buddy and proceeded back home to pick up my 81, then i parked my 81 right where my truck was, and my buddy left his jeep on the other side just like the person left thier car on mine.

my buddy and i caught a ride home to my house and had some beers and left them over night. the owner of the car must have climbed in his sunroof or through the trunk because it was gone in the morning and i never saw it double parked in the lot again. :)

Those look very similar to tactical armor groups products. Was there a buy out?
