So I’ve started to think about what I want my truck to look like. I want to get new bumpers, get rock sliders, skid plates the hole nine yards. I’m curious what are some good brands and good things to look for. Could anyone point me in the right direction?

I’ve got sos off road concepts for all my armor they make great stuff. There is a few vendors check out Bay Area Metal Fab(bamf), cbi, rci, 4xinnivations or get a good ol arb bumper.
Brute force fab is another vendor here as well along with At the Helm he makes some sweet stuff.
Depends on what you like check out some build threads best advice wait till Black Friday sales they all usually run a 15-20% off during that time you can save some serious money that way and get it shipped bare and paint it yourself.
Here’s my truck SoS off-road Concepts everything.

This is some solid advice. I’ll throw in a vote for an arb front bumper and a trail gear rear bumper.

Is there any setups where the bumpers and rock sliders and everything go together, like all one brand and it all links together?

ARB makes fender brush guards, but it's unfortunately only for 3rd gen. As far as I know nobody makes them for our vehicles. Something you'll have to find a local shop to fab up for you.

    Example:

Sway-A-Way 2.0 coilovers and rear shocks Wheelers 8 leaf springs and superbumps ARB front bumper Trail Gear sliders RCI aluminum skids URD Spec-U exhaust etc.
If you can find anyone locally who makes armor you like, you will save $$$ in shipping, especially if you are going for front, back and sliders. Or use it as an excuse for a road trip. And if you get your sliders first, think about your color choices. ADD182A4-536E-445C-9C34-F726FC72BC68.jpg

Bay Area Metal fab has a hybrid bumper I’m wanting and it $800 I think the ARB is a bit out dated I’m looking at avid off-road sliders and trail gear rear bumper.

Why do you think ARB is out dated

That style has been out for so long and they all look alike in my opinion. You can get that bumper for just about anything and they all look alike. I think if they updated it somehow it would be better I looked at the arb then noticed how they haven’t changed much over the years so started looking else were and the price to.

They are tough bumpers that’s why that design has been around for so long I just think an update would help

Yes, I’m asking for your input, what other kinds of bumpers do you think are good or ever better
