I know, I know, stupid question...
I have an invitation to do the Rubicon trail in mid-July with some Jeep guys and I'd really like to find some high clearance bumpers both front and rear to help survive said trail.

I can't wait 6-14 weeks for delivery as most places seem to forecast. Does anyone know of any vendors that might have bumpers available? I'll likely make some compromises if needed. Any ideas?

Jesus, at the prices they list, I'm not surprised they might have a few. And again, I know it's a fools mission....

But I will keep looking there.

Rubicon trail in a Tacoma on 33's? You might want to add rock sliders and full skid plates to that shopping list, if you don't already have them.

A bit of a gamble, but Victory 4x4 told me 30-60 days and it was here in a week.

What is your budget and is it realistic? Because those 4WP prices look cheap compared to a CBI or other major supplier. Good quality offroad bumpers haven't been cheap for a decade.

No real budget, but I'm gathering I'm going to be in the $4- 5k range for both bumpers and a winch it seems.

    Stock-ish
Coastal Offroad and then buy a welder with the money saved on buying complete bumpers.

Interesting alternative. I've got welders, just no good shop space to work in at the current house. I will look closer at Costal, thanks for the suggestion.

x3 on the Coastal OR option. Pretty well designed kits and will serve you well. Last I spoke with them, they were shipping the kits in 7-10 business days.

I'm a dealer with them if you're interested in ordering one up and can do the assembly for you. Let me know!

Quoted lead times are meant for business protection. My suggestion is to email the shops you're interested in, you might get lucky. I was able to get a bumper that was in stock (even though a new order was 16weeks+). Either they built it wrong or someone cancelled, but I had one within 2 weeks. I emailed around til I got lucky. It was the exact options I wanted.

I second this. Ended up calling the shop for my rear bumper and someone had just cancelled with the exact specs I wanted. Got the bumper a week later!

Thanks everyone, lots of possibilities that my searching did not turn up. I like the idea of checking directly with the sellers even if the web sites show long lead times.
