Sounds like the new vehicle intoxication is wearing off. I doubt there's anything wrong with the suspension components, unless they were abused. If you're looking for a softer ride, best bet would be find some Off Road take-offs and try that. Lots of people selling them on here in the BST section. Ride quality is a very subjective thing, so it'll be hard for anyone on here to give you a definitive answer.

I think most people are hung up on the concept of a suspension suddenly stiffening up. I've never heard of that to be honest. Usually when a shock fails it starts bouncing like a funhouse. Also, you would see leaky shocks. Are you absolutely, positively, 100% sure that this isn't driver perception? Do you have specific data or details to describe it?

I mean, my truck has noticeably different handling in both ride quality and power if the wind direction changes from south to south-southeast. The physics of a tall vehicle tends to exaggerate things like that.

This sounds a lot like the "shiny new toy" effect wore off and now you are noticing things that you didn't before. You will probably hate the taco with all it's nuances soon....might want to think of offloading it before it makes you miserable.

also, the stock spring shackle hangers are a weak link in the rear suspension. I would guess the bouncy feeling is a combination of factors:
    1. under acceleration, your springs "wrap" slightly. just think of it as having tension added to the spring. happens under braking too.
    2. under tension, your springs transmit some road feedback into your stock shackles and shackle hangers. These hangers are very flimsy for what they do. They sway and flex under stress. and mind you, this is undamped suspension flex so its going to feel bouncy. Best way to get rid of it is a set of aftermarket shackle hangers that are way beefy and solid. such a product eliminates suspension flex at that point and all road feedback is put directly into the springs which are dampened by your shocks and will not/should not bounce. Read up on "hammer hangers"

You do not have to go nuts on an upgrade, if you are just looking to improve things. A set of bilsten 5100s and a AAl in the back, and you will get some lift and a drastically improved ride.

See I thought maybe I was just noticing it out of nowhere but the service guys at Toyota state they can feel it as well and it’s not the normal or how it should drive. But also state they can’t find what’s wrong

Over time the suspension will soften up . Parts move and break in . That’s why you are feeling a difference in the ride compared to when u first purchased it . Best option is go better suspension but you purchased a truck it will ride like a truck not a car ever . Honda Ridgeline has pretty good suspension set up more like a car .
