They are. I'll try and figure out a shipping quote but I suspect it won't be cheap. They're bulky

 

I hear ya. I punched in some rough dimensions into ups for a quote and it was outrageous. I have shipped a few mountain bikes before which are about the same size in a box as these I think. Bike flights.com is one I have used a few times before, and figuring 25 pounds of weight if they fit in a standard mountain bike box, it is under $60 which is reasonable. Let me know what you come up with, and if you have any bike shops near you, maybe see if you can get a bike box from them if it all fits.

 

Interesting idea. I'll see if there's something like that around me tomorrow. I don't have super high hopes, but it's worth checking out.
