Bungee Cord Storage/Organization

You attach the ratchet straps to the cleats, torgue them and watch the cleats get ripped off the rails. The cleats should be used for much more than what I use them for: bungees holding down bags of garbage. If you use ratchet straps, better use the floor D Rings.

 

I bought a couple of sets of these at home depot - they were like $10 each - Amazon wants more. Maybe these would work for you...

i use ratchets ones. bought the highest rated ones i could find. i do have two bungee cords for when i get gas for the lawn mower.

 

Yes I saw these....but seems like more time than needed for a simple task. I want to whip it out and tie it down and go.

 

I have a cargo net made out of the bungee cord material that works extremely well if all you need is to keep things like garbage bags from flying out of the bed. the net has 6 hooks around it that i attach to the four cleats and the two D rings in the rear of the bed. the flexibility of it is really nice if there are taller loads in the bed. Though i also keep two ratchet straps for the heavy loads as well.

I killed my bungee cords today. Murdered them.

makes it easy to pull a single bungee out of a pile of many without it snagging onto something. got my cords at lowes,

 

These are great and I bought 2 cases of the damn things at lowes a while back for less than 2.00 a pack on clearance

I Hate This Site
It costs me a fortune
and what doesn't cost money,
costs me time, rearranges my schedule, 'n "F's" Up my day

Saw it and had to make one
and, Oh been meanin' to put up a bungie organizer in the cellar.
So now I've spent the last hour makin' a pipe holder and an in house ceiling mounted holder
figured I'd include my in house for others.
Been planning it for a year. Ten minute job.
Soon as I post this, I'm going back to what I was doing before.
Can't read any more, can't read any more.

Not to Mention, just went downstairs and have PVC filing all over the workbench area, and Me, to clean up now

 

My 2011 Taco truck bed cubby storage door is fading?? What's up. Truck bed is new composite material to resist rust. Any ideas.

It's plastic, sun will fade it... You could paint it if it really bothers you but like you said, it's not going to rust or break on you.

 

i did the same but used central vac tubing that was left over from an install, drill some holes at appropriate spots and your on your way.
