    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    got my second arc cloak while playing my warlock, IIRC. got the same one on my hunter last night.

    2 NFs tonight got me a 309 1000 yd stare (my character was 296), that arc cloak, 17 coins, and another treads upon stars (3rd so far). got back to the tower and a blue turned into a 286 1000 yd stare. going to infuse that 309 into something and keep the 286 since perks suck on the 309.

    One Titan and myself managed it, wasn't to bad having the swords to cut through everything but the bubble definately helped. Got my malice and damn do i love that thing. To bad the raid keeps screwing me. Keep getting same gear I already have at literally 1 light lvl lower. So Stuck at 306. Tried HM but just couldnt do the damage to Oryx for us to get it done.

    Yeah Oryx is a 311 fight. Got the Daughters down in about 5 mins with no problem. Got a 315 ghost shell and 319 arm band so I'm almost 310 now.

    Yea Sisters were no problems with 5 TOM lol but that oryx fight is a pain. I really need a ghost shell, mine is still 289 lol and a helmet at 294 is holding me back. Other than that I should hit 310

    Did HM tonight and stopped at Oryx. Got a 314 rocket launcher from warpriest that I infused into my normal LMG. Also got a 314 warlock bond and a 320 shotty. I'm gonna hold onto the shotty till I get a weapon closer to 320 to infuse it with.

    You MUST be 310 (Ideally 311 or above to do any damage to Oryx). Everything before Oryx is a cake walk. That's just getting your weapons and armor to be able to run Oryx. I like how they did that. I'm sitting at 311 almost 312 right now. Few more mechanics to Oryx also.

    After several hours we finally beat it. It wasn't the light levels that were the problem. It was a select few who just sucked at the mechanics of the game. We promptly got rid of them and found other people. Then it was a matter of the new fire team getting in the groove and doing it. Drops were pretty lame this time around too. Got a 311 pulse rifle and a bunch of normal raid crap. Best thing I got was 319 gauntlets.

    Oh yeah... I've been there before :rolleyes: You can feasibly take one new person through the raid as long as they listen (especially if you are pretty high light level on NM). HM... Everyone has to be on top of their game. I still contend that you need to be around 310 to even give a good shot at Oryx on HM.

    I got extremely lucky last night although I still can not get the damn helmet to drop :mad:

    Guess I need to do VoG and Crota to fill out my raid list. The first week TTK was out we made it all the way to Oryx but didn't get him down so we went and killed his son for fun. I think we did the entire raid in less than 20 mins lol. Then we went back and killed Oryx the next week. I'm ready for challenge mode now :)
