Bungie's Destiny

Bought the wrong system. If you had a PS4 we'd take you through in a heartbeat. Between all three of my characters I've done King's Fall 106 times. Now we just do it up to the CM and stop there. No use completing it tonight since it's the WarPriest challenge. I've got everything I can get out of it and just run CM now for 335 infusion shit. So we've actually done it more but just stop at CM unless it's Oryx like last week. I've been concentrating on Trials recently so that takes up most of my time in the game when It's active.

Dammit! I have a PS4 but I started it on 360 so I just kept it going on Xbox so I wouldn't lose my progress. Figures that'd be my damn luck

 

Maybe I'm wrong (I have been once and didn't like it ) but it seems that more younger players play on the Xbox than PS4. We've got a good core group of 15-20 solid players and we always have fun. It doesn't matter if we're winning or losing in PvP, trying to kill each other off in fucked up ways in the raid (note: never go into your menu close to a edge. You'll come back to a group of people teabagging your ghost lol), or just generally shooting the shit while shooting shit.

I owned a original Xbox, 3 Xbox 360's, and one Xbox one. I bought the Xbox one exclusively for Titanfail (pun intended). Sold it not long after. I bought the PS4 and Xbox one at launch. Now I have 2 PS4's. One I keep at work and one at home.

 

Im on XB1 and ill do Kings fall soon. Download the100.io app and join. They run Kings fall newb runs all the time! Im in Charlie Company 987. Average age is 35 in there and no squeakers!

I ran it a few fays ago with a team I joined from that app. Everyone was super cool and chill. More than happy to teach the mechanics of it. We made it to gogoroth and ended cause of time. You need a few hours to run that raid.

Right now i was farming Iron Banana and tonight we are going to run the nightfall and daily and probably end in Challenge of Elders. I went from 317 to 322 last night with one Sigil turned in for the 30/90k. The precision bonus helps cause that Hawksaw drops headshots all day.

I was just about to say that. the100.io is the best thing to happen to Destiny. About the same age group in my group and we weed out the squeakers pretty damn quick. We even built a solid clan around it and have videos posted on Bungies webpage now.

It's so much better than the LFG tool that we used to have to use. Either someone would rage quit because you failed the first time or give you shit for not knowing what you're doing. I remember my first time through VoG. Had no fucking clue what I was doing and it was miserable.

 

Met some beast players on there all super chill and very active. Its great, i post up what im looking for, request a sherpa and say mature players only. Within a few hours ive got a fireteam. We ran VoG and Crota in 2 hours. These guys were all about it. If someone fell, no big deal. Same thing with KF, a common understanding that KF is a motherfucker your 1st time. Takes time to understand how to donthe runes or when to shoot the bosses.

 

Yeah, King's Fall can be a motherfucker. It's all about DPS. We've got it down to a science now but learning it was fun. I love a challenge and King's Fall was / is a good raid. Honestly I think the WP CM is the hardest if you don't get him down in two rounds. The rest is cake. We can speed run King's Fall in less than an hour now without CM.

I still say my favorite raid is VoG to date. I just love the mechanics. We do a throwback Thurs every week for VoG just for fun. Crota? Fuck that raid. I soloed that raid before the patch. That's how bad that raid was.

Once i hit 330 ill do KF hard. I also need to finish my Titan. Ive been dumping points into defender and striker but no where close to done. Sunburst is where im at for now cause i was all PvE until last week.

 

Hammers are pretty good in PvP but honestly I get killed by Fist of Havoc and goddamn shoulder charge more than anything. I still run hammers because blowing shit up is cool

 

Yea, ive been fisted quite a bit in PvP and im a Titan!



Im sure ill get tired of hammers and start dropping shields and fists once i get them finished.

Played like shit last night. Super frustrated at trying to finish sleeper simulant. Protecting the warsat on very hard with 3 on Earth is a PITA! Damn captains come in overshield and snipers everywhere. Tried that shit like 15 times before I said fuck this, i need more DPS

Lol... I remember that quest line. I got lucky and dropped in with 2 randoms and we finished it on the first try. Purely luck though.

 

Pure luck. I tried randoms first than some friends. Youve got no where to hide cause youve got to stay in that area. Took the cannons out on the ship and everything. Just not flowing yesterday.

Also, i never used to run out of ammo with the scout rifle, this hawksaw is a pig

 

The way we did it was have someone on the rocks sniping and rockets while the other two stayed by the warsat.

 

Last game of the night and I was getting tired. So it starts off a little slow but ends up well.

 

Fuck.... Trials is on Pantheon this week. I hate that map. Filled out the bounties and stayed positive k/d and made it to the 4th round. The "trihards" are out in force today. All I got was gloves and a shitty artifact. Running a second character through tonight. I need to find a group to play against that doesn't have thumbs
