Now if I can just get a primary to drop. I've got the Khvostov, Mida, Inward Lamp, Monte Carlo, Grasp of Malok, and Hawsaw all sitting at 365. I'd be above 370 if I could get one to drop.

 

I don't use it enough to play with it. Even with Arc Burn it's not a struggle. You got the Black Mida yet? Looks fucking awesome.

I still use The Inward Lamp for almost all of my PvE but I love the Khvostov and it's probably one of my favorite weapons out of this expansion. Pretty good in PvP and I love the multiple paths you can take with it. The new Raid Fusion Rifle (Ether Nova~) is pretty damn nice also. I'm not a fusion rifle player but I've turned into one. Extremely fast charge rate and it's burns shit up in the crucible. The "Two for One" perk (Doubles the effectiveness of Army of One) is great for double kills.

 

No it's a good gun don't get me wrong. Hell I use it in PvP every once in awhile just to change things up. And it's great for the strikes this week with arc burn. Just not my favorite gun but that's a personal opinion so I didn't bother to level it up.

My favorite gun to play with is the Khvostov but I don't get to play around with it that much especially since the raid. My GH or one of my swords usually takes up one of the exotic slots. I will use it in PvP because of all the changes you can make to it. But hell, I use a lot of different primary weapons in PvP. Before I got this fusion rifle out of the raid I was running with The Trespasser as a secondary. I love that gun and is a great counter for shotgunners.

 

Mida is still my go to weapon on longer range maps in PvP. Scout rifles are still my favorite guns in the game by far (which is why I leveled my Inward Lamp up first). I tend to build my characters around PvP first and PVE second which is why I leveled all my PvP guns up first. The Khvostov makes for a pretty good Doctrine of Passing in PvP and other than the Monte Carlo or Doctrine it's the only auto rifle I use. I tend to stick with pulse rifles in PvP and a sniper, sidearm, or now a fusion rifle for secondary depending on the map. Devils Dawn is now by far my favorite sniper. Hits harder than the Zen Meteor and Black Spindle, has pretty good aim assist, and doesn't take up a exotic slot.

But my Hawksaw or Hung Jury still take the win for favs.

Thousand yard stare.. I am yet to find one I like better. Not sure how i pull off the snap snipes, but i do it the most with it.


I did drop a Y1 Hardlight last night.. lol

 

Legendary marks stop decrypting any higher than 365 once you get above that threshold. So public events won't drop higher loot once you get above 365. That leaves you with decrypting exotics, leveling factions, and doing the raid. SIVA strikes still drop blues but that's about it.

 

Thousand Yrd Stare is a great sniper. I used it for a long time until I got a Longbow (3 actually). The Thousand Yrd is a great PvE sniper and it's okay in PvP. The Longbow has such a high aim assist that it made it the go too sniper for PvP along with the LDR. If you can get your hands on the new Devils Dawn (out of the new Phogoth strike) I HIGHLY recommend it. It is, as of right now, the hardest hitting sniper in the game and the aim assist is ridiculous. Plus it doesn't take up a exotic slot.

With the Hardlight you got a exotic shard lol.

 

I ended up disassembling a few exotics that i was carrying for PvP. I was told to go get the supercell from my exotic blueprints and build it again. I used somr motes to level it up as well as TLW to bring up the attack. We ended up doing the nightfall because arc burn. It just melts the bad guys including the boss. Decent drops from that and the skeleton key chest.

The big news is events. Holy shit drops are good on Gold tier completions.

 

They only drop like that the first time you complete them each day. Each time you do one after the drops get lower.

 

I run out of marks quick once i start leveling stuff.

Its going to be awhile at this rate.

 

I don't recommend using Motes for leveling your new armor or weapons. Honestly you'll be killing so much stuff that it levels fast. If you do decide to level a weapon with motes then pick up a booster from the gunsmith and pop it before you start using your motes. You'll use less than half of your motes by doing it that way. Sadly leveling your armor doesn't work that way. If you get a exotic piece of armor then it take damn near 80 motes to completely level it up. I don't suggest that method unless you are overflowing with motes.

 

It was a 1 time thing just to do the nightfall. The rewards were worth it.

 

What did you get? I haven't done the NF yet. I quit doing them a long time ago since the rewards sucked.
