Bungie's Destiny

Ive been stockpiling exotics and purples since 350. I finally popped them last night and thats what took me from 365 to 368. Fortunately the stuff i decrypted was for another class or something I was ok with infusing into a legendary.

This week im going to farm more exotics and get that 370. Raid time Saturday for sure.

 

I've been building a Titan so I've been funneling stuff to that character. No stockpiling here because of that. The Titan is already heading toward 340.

 

I did start a hunter to funnel siva offerings into and other gear as an extra vault.

I just love my Titan to much to quit it.

If any of you playing IB haven't dropped the Silvered Dread, get on that shit. Its void damage and huge magazine is just beast. Not to mentions its very stable and accurate for a machine gun.

 

Best advice i can give you is learn the jetpack controlls. You can flip it on and off and really use it to maneuver.

 

I miss my leveled up Titan from Y1 PS3 days. That shoulder charge was so much fun in PvP.

 

The shoulder charged is hella nerfed nowadays. It rarely gets a kill. You need a follow up beat down with it in some cases.

I typically just run juggernaut cause of the extra armor.

 

That should be easy to get. Shit, i get 2 ruin wakes a week from the cryptarch

 

That sucks, in the day you could really ruin someone's day with that move, especially around corners or in short passages.

 

Takes a much longer sprint to get it and it wont last as long. There are some boots or gauntlets that extend it. I dont remember which.

 

370!!

Got lucky with a few things tonight. Got a skeleton key on the darkblade and got his helmet @372

Nightfall dropped a 372 item that was warlock, so I infused that

And a ghost shell from DO.


Played 1 last round of IB to clear a loss token and im done. Decided to not play anymore and walk away from that gametype for good.

If anybody hasn't run the nightfall its sepicks perfected. Pretty easy and guaranteed drop at the end. Even better if you havr 3oC and a key.

 

It is pure hell when you run up against a team like that especially in Trials. Still trying to figure out how to combat that combo.

Got a 389 ghost to drop out of the NF last night. Highest light level Item I've seen so far besides my Outbreak Primes. I'm on the quest for my third Outbreak Prime so I should have it tonight after we finish the raid since it resets today.

389 Ghost

Titan skate... where you stay reletively close to the ground but can cover a large amount of distance in a short period of time. Works great for getting out of trouble and also making it from one side of the map to the other.

Shoulder charge was nerfed slightly but I disagree with it rarely gets you a kill. I still punish people with it all the time. Especially when you know when it's going to activate and you jump to your target. Instant death. IIRC they nerfed it by 1 sec so it's not a huge nerf by any means.

 

I played almost every night, not sure how many games and got one ghost on my last game. Anybody need an IB shotty ? I've got about 8 of those.

Would you say that you have a plethora of Proud Spires?


.....besides Motes, that was my other too frequent drop.

Edit: as for the titan charge, I feel like i get the charge all the time in PvE but its so hard to build on PvP.

 

I got a sweet roll on the IB scout though- Hand Laid Stock/Perfect Balance, Full Auto/Explosive rounds, Triple Tap/Zen Moment. I'm at 375 light and with explosive rounds it was 2 shotting the shanks in Aksis phase 2.

That fucking Proud Spire. Can't even lose a match without getting one. It is a decent shotgun depending on perks, the Matador is still my go to though.

 

Matador 64 is the new Party Crasher +1. Great shotgun for PvP. I still use The Wormwood sidearm or The Trespasser if I'm not using the Outbreak Prime. I can "generally" get the drop on a shotgunner before they can reach me if I see them coming. That's a big if though. If I get rushed from behind I'm done. The range on The Matador is stupid long lol.
