    Doesn't matter what level you are in PvP unless you are playing IB or Trials. Regular Crucible is levelized so no one weapon is more powerful than the other. Some weapons are better suited for PvP but since everything is levelized it doesn't matter your level

    Funny thing is I originally wrote IB, but its only Supremacy that I didnt enjoy. I just assumed everyone in here knows that LL doesn't matter unless youre in IB or Trials

    Longbow, matador and Mida for sure. But ill tell you im really falling for that Distant Star.

    Oh and the Nemesis Star works so well against those new Vex Minotaurs in the undying mind strike.
    That machine gun is just brutal.

    Seriously, best loadout for all strikes. I haven't even touched my sword or sleeper

    Outbreak Prime melts them also but the Trials Machine Gun melts them also since It has Void damage on it and the Minotaurs are void shielded.

    The silvered dread is void and my matador is solar. When they charge ill hide around a corner and hit them with the matador. It will remove a shield fast as well.

    Patch drops at noon CST. Doing the NF x3. Already almost 390 so I expect to be that level when we start the raid tomorrow evening. Something to consider and this is pure speculation on the raid. Getting in the door will of course be harder but I figure more adds and "maybe" more voltage eaters. I "personally" don't expect much to change with that portion since it really didn't change with VoG, Crota, or TTK. Just that you "may" not be able to respawn.

    No respawn will be a common theme throughout the raid. So those of you that have based your strats on someone dying and reviving them later... your screwed.

    Vosik fight: Here's what "I" personally think will happen. Only one room will light up after each damage phase limiting your options to go to the closest room so everyone will have to be on point. We always use left, right, left, and a final right, if not down in 3 rounds. I think that strat will be thrown out the window "personally". Harder adds (obviously). But here's where I think things might get tricky. Either more than one monitor will light up and must be shot... or... If you have ever taken a look behind you there are a set of monitors on the back wall. You might want to look back there also during the monitor phase.

    Siege Engine: Harder adds, more of them, and challenge mode must be done in less than 6 mins. Other than that I can't think of much that will change there.

    Akis Phase 1: Less bombs for the final round meaning every bomb throw must be on target. Miss one and it's a wipe. Right now you have 2 extra bombs for the final round. I don't think that will be the case in HM. Also during the first round I "personally" think there will be 3 monitors that must be hit instead of just 2.

    Akis Phase 2: This is where it gets a bit tricky in my line of thinking. The entire point of normal mode raiding is to get you prepared for Hard Mode. That is it's sole purpose... to teach you the mechanics. The loot is nice but that is not the purpose of NM raiding.

    Akis Phase 2: I "believe" the same number of empowered people will remain. But I believe that you will either have to discharge your empowerment into the lit up portions of the map (to fill everyones super) thus changing the empowerment to another person or... there will be a shank / captain that you must kill before he gets to the bomb that drops from the servitor (much like the knights going for bombs in HM Oryx). Adds of course will be harder.

    These are just my assumptions. We go in blind into every raid and figure out our own style and what works for us. This list seems "logical" though I have no basis other than to look back at previous raids and the way they handled them. Tell me if you have any different ideas? One thing is for certain... Those of us that raid will find out tomorrow.

    Oh... One other thing I forgot. There HAS to be something in the "disco room" that must be done before dropping down the hole to the Akis fight. I "personally" think it will be part of the puzzle to get the HM exotic heavy but I may be way off base. But that room and the way it lights up leads me to believe there is a hidden purpose for it that we just haven't figured out yet.

    Don't decrypt any stores engrams until AFTER HM drops.

    We were wondering the same thing about the disco room. Strange pattern on the floor once you drop down as well as on the ceiling above the lighted tiles.

    I had a few blues stored up just to see what they would decrypt to. They decrypted to 365 instead of 340. Purples decrypted to 387 (so far), and my exotics decrypted to the exact same fucking level (save one) that I already had. So the decryption process is working for blues and purples it seems but for exotics it is exactly the same as it was before. I actually had one decrypt lower than my lowest piece.

    I can't complain too much. I'll have some more exotics before the raid drops and I got a 387 Jabberhakke-D sidearm that is actually better than my Wormwood. Dropped with Rangefinder and High Caliber rounds. Intrinsic perk was cascade which increased mag size so that was a awesome drop.
