Haha yea I picked up the pulse rifle cuz my last one was a 289 so I said fuck it I like it for now but will need up grades. I need a fast charging fusion and a decent auto rifle to be set for my level for a little while. Been cranking out these iron missions but take forever solo

 

Mida is still my go to for Scout Rifles. In the end it is still considered one of the best, most capable, all around scout rifles in the game (PvE and PvP). My Cryptic Dragon is actually better but just doesn't have that "feel" if you know what I mean? If it's a medium to long range map in Crucible it will be the Mida end of story. Low medium to short range maps will always be my Grasp of Malok. It is a fucking laser beam with max stability. We do a lot of private matches and everyone is always saying "fucking Grasp Goddamnit!!!" It melts with 3 shots. The only thing that can consistently compete with it is The Last Word. Other than that I win.

Depending on map size I'll still use the LDR or the Longbow for sniping since they have pretty high aim assist. For PvE the raid sniper cannot be beat for dealing damage. It has the highest impact and can put out more damage than any other sniper in the game for a given amount of time (yes even more than the Black Spindle). For close up battles in the Crucible the Trespasser or the Wormwood are awesome. I still haven't gotten the god roll on the Matador 64 so the raid shotgun is a decent substitute though nowhere as good as the Matador.

Heavy... Truth all the way around. Nothing will beat it in Crucible (and I do mean NOTHING) With aggressive tracking it will pull off shots that no other RL can pull off. GH is okay in Crucible but will never compete with the Truth. In PvE GH is perfectly fine and is my go to RL in the raid since the Wolf Pack rounds will clear out adds. I very seldom use Machine Guns anymore since the raid isn't quite the DPS race it was with TTK.

In the end, saying which weapon is the "best" in the game is subjective. Whatever "you" feel comfortable with is the best. The Last Word is still king (in the right hands) in crucible which is why you see most of the people going to the Lighthouse using that weapon or a variant of different hand cannons. I absolutely suck with hand canons (other than Thorn) so I don't use them since they don't fit my play style. But people that do and are good with them will almost always outgun you in a one on one shootout if they get the first shot. So I've just learned when to cut and run if I'm shot first. My Grasp will melt you "if" I get the first shot. Knowing when to engage is the most important thing you can learn in Crucible.

Finished HM Vosik Challenge Mode and the entire raid on all three characters this week and now I've got a unique problem. I've got more 400 weapons than I can use. I've infused every weapon I use and even those I don't with many 400 weapons taking up space in my vault. Good problem to have I suppose.

 

Thought I'd show you my humorous fuck up with the Rocket Launcher. I'll preface this with I hate The Anomaly and I cannot stand not having a radar. I live and die by the radar. So needless to say I was surprised and instinctively pulled the trigger at the wrong time lol. We were down 1 to 3 but came back and won. But after this round we were beaten three times in a row. Was flawless through the seventh. Got the Goddamn Water Star again and another full set of Trials gear.

Needless to say.... I need a Goddamn Matador 64

*EDIT* We stream everything live through Twitch so this was taken from our Twitch Stream this morning. I forgot to turn on voice before starting Trials today so that's why there is no mic audio.

 

Just picked up Infinite Warfare just for the Remastered version of MW for nostalgia's sake. I spent countless hours playing that game and prestiged all the way to the end. Looking forward to a trip down memory lane. Hard to believe it's been 10 years ago that we all sat around the station playing that game.

Looks like ill pop 400 this week perhaps in IB. I Finally got a GoM! Rolls not too bad either but i dont believe it to be a god roll.
I did take it into a supremacy match to see how it faired against a charging shotgun (had my matador on special just in case)
I didnt do bad, i did stop a charging shotgun and got some good mid range support kills.

 

Not a bad roll at all. Too bad it doesn't have counterbalance on it but it still has a lot of stability so that is good. Once you get used to it I think you'll like it (a lot).

Compared to my Hawksaw they are very close in stats. Its just the cyclic rate on the GoM has got to be its advantage.

I started to think about loadout for this weeks IB as well. I think Blessings with a side of Matador may be the way to go.

Primary can vary from map. Think ill pull out the Rising Star as well as keep the Hawksaw and Hung Jury ready.

Ive been trying to use enhanced radar in PvP but Skorris may be a good idea for a solid team.

Im just not sure if shotguns will rule this week cause running into a captured and secured zone may not be a good idea.

 

Again it really depends on what map you're on. Snipers and Shotguns will be prevalent no matter what. Control is easy mode to me so I'll probably take all three of my characters through this IB. I hate supremacy so I only took one of my characters through last time. My PvP loadout is complete now on each character so I'm in good shape on all my characters. Skorri is good but "personally" I would take the enhanced radar over Skorri (or unlimited sprint on a Titan). Your super will build fast enough without it.

 

Looking forward to getting the pulse rifle out of IB. Looks pretty nice.

We'll be doing Aksis CM tomorrow night so IB will have to wait until Wed.

 

Did get a God Roll on a Binary Dawn shotgun yesterday out of Trials. Got a full loadout of trials weapons now. I'll probably switch them over to my other WL with full Trials gear. Still looking for the fucking Blind Perdition pulse rifle since it's the only Trials weapon I don't have. Can't get that fucker to drop for shit.

 

Ive heard the IB pulse is in the same type as the GoM. Just like the Rising Star is a legendary version of the Mida. Id like to get the auto version of the Rising Star along with that Puse this week.
Ill be happy if I pull those and a full set of IB gear.
