Bungie's Destiny

What raids are you guys running just the aksis raid or are the others still good to run on a higher level then what they are? Or should I keep farming exotics like I have been on the black garden?

 

I ran VoG a few weeks ago for the No Time To Explain exotic. Ill probably help my buddies beat Oryx soon.
But i just barely beat WotM. Working on the Exotic for that one now.

 

I will look into those. I've been on the grind for that mida no luck yet. I did get the hawksaw and almost have that at full upgrade for reload and stability. I like it I'm just not a pulse rifle Guy I need me that mida. I watch the videos and it's perfect for my kind of playing

 

I dont think you can get the Hung Jury from Dead Orbit anymore but thats a great scout as well.

I just finished leveling the Chaos Dogma, not sure i like it as much as the Hung Jury tho. Ill use it more.

Im currently leveling the genisis chain.

Both of those are in the WotM

 

What is the Wotm? I thought it was wraith against the machine but that doesn't work lmfao. Nobody has a decent scout rifles to buy with legendary marks I've looked everywhere. So just trying to be patient but have officially fallen in love with the Mida as far as all the videos I've seen

 

Wrath of the Machine? I got my 2nd Mida there a few days ago.

Maybe youll get lucky and Xur will have it tomorrow.

Ummm... Yeah. You haven't even done HM yet much less the Challenge Modes. Raids are not designed to be one and done portions of the game. We farm HM and the Challenges each week on all three characters for the loot. My vault is now full of 400 items for when I get a good roll on a piece of armor or a God Roll weapon. Plus the Raid is just fun.

VoG is well worth running and we run it often as I still say that is still the best raid in the game even though you can get nothing beneficial out of it. Crota can suck a dick. I soloed that raid before the patch and when you can finish a raid in 20 mins on HM on level it was just filler for the game. It sucked and is not worth ever doing again IMO. TTK is still fun IMO but we farmed the shit out of it. It became our personal playground. I "personally" enjoyed it a lot.

This is us fucking around with Oryx Challenge Mode (Using Touch of Malice BTW when it was king)

I got a Vex on my second time through and it took me 52 times to get a Fatebringer to drop. Then another didn't drop again until the 105th time through so I feel your pain.

 

Well I was gonna get some friends thru, or attempt to. I just wasnt sure if anything would drop or be in the chests since ive done it once this week. I only have one character I use.

 

I'd have to go back and add up my stats but I think I'm up to 136 on VoG IIRC. I've got every single weapon and armor piece out of it. Even the
Praetorian Foil which is arguably the hardest weapon to get in the game.

 

You may get duplicates of each weapon (since the stats don't change) but the HM weapons are worth going after. Especially the sniper and pulse rifle. The armor will drop at different stats and you can always reroll them with siva key fragments.

 

Not to mention you get better armor, shaders, and ornaments (for challenge mode) to put in your armor by doing HM.

 

Well this wontbe a HM run. Its helping friends get thru NM. Not gonna take newbies in HM when even I havent done it.

 

I wouldn't either. Well, we're taking 3 through tonight but it's just help them finish up HM. But once you get a good group you'll be farming HM each week. Raids are not something in the game to just say "well I've done that" and stop. They are made to farm, they are fun (except Crota), and the continued rewards are worth it.

 

I don't think I've ever done that oryx mission is there good loot to be had?

Make sure to get the Touch of Malice before you do HM.

 

Thanks for that I'll look into getting touch of malice. Need more 3oc from xur so looking forward to finding him on Friday and hopefully picking up a decent scout rifles if he has one. I have way too many strange coins right now haha I missed xur last week so that sucked. Really trying to boost my light level and pick up so decent guns I enjoy using. Haven't really found any yet
