No I agree with the piracy issue. I just thought the pokeman ban was funny.

 

Yeah, that was me, was having odd problems only related to Destiny. Kept getting coconut, rabbit, and groundhog errors. It eventually settled down, and it appears there was a brief period of issues mostly affecting the east coast. I've never been into Trials, have 130Mbps internet, and I suck at PvP (although improving a bit), so not likely targeted by the banhammer!

Took the Pro plunge and found an excuse to get a 4K TV. My regular raid group seems to have fallen apart so will probably pop into the100 and get some stuff done over the holiday, but also enjoying Titanfall 2 so far. Happy Thanksgiving!

I've "personally" not had any connection issues on my end with Destiny but this last weekend was hell in Trials. We did have one member of our group banned from Crucible for a couple weeks due to a hurricane coming through and wiping out his internet for a while. His has been pretty unstable so they banned him for a bit.

As far as the Pro goes I'm loving it with the ultra wide 4k monitor. I've also noticed that there is no frame rate drop during the Siege Engine now with the Pro. Very happy with it.

 

Good thing you don't have a ps4, cause they dont have a 4k player

 

I don't use my PS4 for 4k bluray. I've got a dedicated 4k blueray player in my home theater One thing I'll never use the PS4 for is the DVD player lol. I bought it to game only. Well that and to stream 4k Grand Tour episodes every once in awhile.

 

Since Destiny isn't a 4K game you probably won't notice much difference. The PS4 Pro upscales to near 4K so it looks "better" though nowhere as good as Titanfall 2. Titanfall 2 in 4K makes Destiny look like a cartoon lol.

I know this is a Destiny thread but some were asking about Titanfall 2 and how it plays. Here is the last game I played that finally got me the Hemlock Rifle. Arguably the best rifle in the game. I'm ready to try it out now

I will say a couple things about this game.

1: There is no FUCKING LAG

2: Gameplay is smooth and fluid

 

Looks like another way to play call of duty to me

 

Wow!? I didn't know people still played Destiny. I got out after House of Wolves. Got tired of Bungie's B.S

 

Its a great game. I love how it is right now but I dont play Trials yet.

 

That game mode was Pilot vs Pilot without Titans. Attrition is my favorite game mode as it gets really hectic really fast. It actually has a deep multiplayer element to it. I'm enjoying it and it's a break from Destiny multiplayer until they get their shit fixed.

 

HM completed! About 2.5 hours and we had a few breaks. We almost had aksis 2 fast but a trip and then a few stumbles after prevented that.

High speed crash time was 5:15 i believe. Was told that wasn't bad for a 1st time.

Only have 5 HM mode level completions, thorn (@50%), and 6 more supremecy wins till book completion.


Good horde of weapons as well. I wish I had got the raid ship. Or is that a CM thing?

Steel Medulla with full auto and High Caliber rounds. This thing could be of use in PvP.

 

Congrats! 5:15 is a good time. Really doesn't matter what time you get as long as it's less than 6 mins. Our fastest time is 4:54 with 5 people on HM with the Devil Walker. It's really a easy fight once you get the pacing down.



HM Aksis Challenge Mode isn't hard it's just getting everyone in the right spots and being able to communicate movements when needed. Hitting the plate and then the slam at approximately the same time is the challenging part. The rest is easy.

As far as the Steel Medulla I thought the same way about PvP but I can say for certain (for me anyway) it sucks in PvP. A Clever Dragon, Grasp, etc... will outgun you every time. I took it in for a few matches but the TtK is just too slow.

 

Interesting, on paper it looks good. I haven't even shot it yet tho.

 

Yeah I seen a few videos of how it is now, still didn't convince me to go back. Sad, thing was I used to have all the Raids, Weekly Heroic, and have the save point for the Vault of Glass. It just looks too watered down, especially after all the nerfs.

 

Same game just more to do now. Classes still act the same so very little in the way of nerfs
