Got to be really solid with that in this map. There will be rushing jugs, blinking WLs with god roll Mapadors o plenty

 

True but my Longbow has snapshot and max stability so close up snipes are easy to pull off. Last time on this map we almost went flawless with this setup. I'll be running a hunter so we'll see how that goes.

 

I do believe this is a damn good roll and classifies as a god roll Mapador.




I'm not sure which is better, rifled barrel or hammer forged.

So far I've yet to go negative in Crucible with my hunter. So many fucking redbars today. Didn't feel comfortable enough to take him into trials.

Did another flawless today. Took 4 tries, 2 of which we got bumped at win 9.

It was all made worthwhile when this happened. Fuck i love this thing. Its a Hawksaw with HC rounds. Really does a # on snipers and other pulse battles (Clever Dragons)



This combined with that Mapador I got is just dirrrrrrrrty.

Still prefer primary, but it was nice to have that mapador in Trials. Anomoly is an absolute clusterfuck of shotguns.

I still see that the meta is shotty in all crucible. Not sure if these people know they have a primary available.

 

So if any of you xb1 guys are looking to get better and get into trials. I know a guy that has coached me and help me get better. My confidence has doubled since working with him and his buddy.
They do trials carrys at the best price ive seen for a play along carry.

Not on Xbox One but there is no way I would pay for a carry. I'll do it myself and I would rather have the satisfaction of knowing "we" did we did it on our own. Made it to the very last round so I know we can do it. I've seen people advertise Trials / Raid carries before. Hell.... I should be charging for Raid carries since we have it down within a hour with all chests and challenges.

 

I've seen people charge as much as $50 for Raid carries and even more to get the OP. What's the use and where is the fun in that?

 

Weve been over this, not all have access to quality players with the patience to do those things.
I look at it as tutoring with a guaranteed flawless at the end and it is worth it to some.
The 100 and other groups fail to deliver quality Trials players. Its a whole new level of PvP.

I agree it's a whole new level of PvP which is why we play it. When we go it will be because "we" did it. I want to know "I" did it without the help of anyone but my team. Hell... I could get on ebay right now and go flawless tonight but I'm not built that way. I'm going to do it and when I do it will be because we did it ourselves. I suppose I thought that when you went flawless I was happy for you last week. Had I known you paid for it then the congratulations I gave you last week falls a little short. Then bragging that you are going to go flawless again this week???? Pfft yeah... when you hire pros.

So... anyone on PS4 that would like a carry through the raid with all chests and challenges PM me and we'll carry you though (for a price since that's the thing now)

 

So lets say i was doing a lift on my truck and bought the 2 volunteers 35$ worth of beer and pizza. Does that take away from the 3 of us working together to get my lift done? That makes the lift less mine? It makes the experience less because i didnt do all of it alone? Cause i didnt have all the tools at my disposal?

Yes because you paid for this service and the people that you played with didn't just "volunteer" their time out of the goodness of their heart. You paid to win and with that I would have a hard time saying "welp.... going flawless again this weekend". So yes in a sense it does make the experience less IMO because you might have the best gun out of Trials but you paid for it and it was earned by someone else.

I get that it is hard to find good players but I worked at that and put the time and effort to find people that had the same aspirations and goals in the game that I did. Took a while but it made the game that much more enjoyable (even if we lose). When we go to the Lighthouse, and we will, I will know that the rewards are earned by my team and all the effort that we put into it. Or I could just get on ebay and pay for it and have it next Saturday. That is my logic.

 

Again... This is why we run sherpa runs through the raid each week for the members of the io that haven't been through and would like too. I would never ever consider making anyone "pay" for the run. That is why we joined the group and that is why we "help" others for free.

 

When we do go to the Lighthouse I will record my games with the team that I run with. Hell... I twitch stream all of our games anyway for everyone to watch. I've even posted videos on here of us failing and / or winning just because I think it's funny. I posted the video a few pages back of us fumbling our way through beating 3 flawless guys. It wasn't pretty but it was funny to watch because we sucked. I'm not afraid to lose and that's why I post those videos. Losing in a humorous way just makes the game even more fun.
