That's what I've been saying about the hunter all along. They are the most versatile class in the game with the most utility. And they own in PvP which is why I finally dropped one of my WL's and started the hunter after watching all the shit that they can do that the WL can't. It's just a shame I didn't start one until a couple weeks ago.

I'm like you with the discipline / strength build but since "smoke" is considered a melee you want the cooldown as soon as possible (29 secs). Slot "Lockdown" and you will control a map.

 

Yea, that death mark is handy in ToO

 

Yet to get it. Run the NF every time since with all three characters but no luck. I loved that gun in yr 1 and used it like a primary but I doubt I'll ever use it now. The Winged Word is stupid accurate and a headshot machine so I'll never give up that slot for the IceBreaker. Plus I'll never unslot Truth in Crucible / Trials.

 

I did figure out one thing while playing Trials for so long. I lowered my sensitivity down to 4 and it dramatically improved my accuracy. I originally played on 8 so it took a while to get used to but Destiny isn't CoD where you can pull off 360 spin quick scopes. You have to pull the sniper up to full zoom to reliably get the shot. That's why I love The Winged Word since it has "Snapshot" on it. You can pull off quick snipes that other snipers without that perk just can't compete with. Add that with unflinching and high impact and it doesn't matter if someone is shooting a primary at you... their done.

 

Well... I said I was going to take a few weeks off of Trials but it's on Burning Shrine so I'm back bitches. I love that map.

 

Good luck today. I did 2 last night and failed before 7 wins and then went flawless this morning with another friend. I got repeat weapons, still no WW.

Im kinda pissed that xur doesn't have glass needles, its keeping me from a 2 5 5 build on my hunter.


Going to play again later and try for scarabs.

 

Yea, i cant claim i did anything but callout, assist and revive. These 2 friends of mine are absolutely beasts. Im very fortunate to have them showing me the ropes. I still need time on this new class. We actually came back from a 0-4 to win.

 

I'm in three different .io groups and have met many people while playing Trials. I figured out a while back that you can not have too many friends and it opens up doors for Trials. It also helps when you send GG messages after the games when a good game is played (as I posted a while back). A little respect for the other team goes a long way rather than teabagging. So when I say we practice 3v3 all the time we practice against each other and with each other. So my friends list has grown exponentially from our original group when we first started playing. I wanted more out of the game and it seems that our original group was content to stay put. So that's why I moved on. I'd still like to play with you guys but the last few times I've joined one of your chat's it felt as if I weren't welcome to be honest. Tonight we are running one of our normal groups but we consist of more than 3 players.
