Bungie's Destiny

I have been pretty happy with the aim assist on the Monte and I use Golden Gun a lot. I can usually triple down if I launch it at the right time.

 

I barely started playing GG when this change happened. I will say playing a hunter has helped my titan play.

 

I ran felwinter for a while. Pretty easy to avoid supers since you have an idea of when they are coming. It's pretty cool locking down an area with smoke and either spike / voidwall grenades.

 

Titans cover ground fast. Hunters evade fast and counter. Warlocks float around (with the exception of blink but voidwalker is fucked now so that's a moot point) lol.

 

Feels good to be back in the Titan striker. I dont jug shield or shoulder charge tho. Two lightning grenades are better at taking or stopping a capture IMO (atleast how I play)

Been a weekend of pulse. Started with me buying that Partheon and i then got an angels advocate, Hopscotch and a Waltz to drop. All with very good rolls. Im falling in love with this partheon more and more as i learn it. Its a fucking beast.
If i switch to a weapons of light bubble i have no doubt i will get hate mail.

 

Im just struggling with special choice. I just got a decent roll teacup, im not so sure about the Trespasser yet. Also been messing with the Icebreaker on big maps.

 

Trespasser is a great sidearm. I personally like the god roll wormwood I've got but the trespasser is a beast.

 

It fits the bill for a great emergency pull to polish a kill or 2. Stable AF, i just typically dont reload after a kill and keep it out. My primary game is strong.

Also, been seeing scout rifles of the 3 tap Chaos Dogma kind.

 

Took the Vision Stone in last night and it's okay. I'm just not a Auto Rifle person. I'll stick with a pulse or scout. Sniping isn't bad at all as crates come up often enough for me to play my usual game.

 

That said.... For Honor is my new game now. Fuck Destiny until they get their shit fixed and can release content in a timely manner without fucking each patch up.

So yes I know this is a Destiny thread but with Destiny sucking dick right now I thought I'd put up a video of For Honor. It's a very fun strategic game to play.

Dropped an invective yesterday, never used it before.

So anti shotty but it may be the good idea paired with a Hawksaw

 

All the raids are coming back and getting buffed for age of triumph

 

But nothing carries forward so whatever. They should have done that a LONG time ago.

 

Sure the raids will be fun but we've been doing them weekly anyway. The only thing that I do not have in the game is the Scarab Emblem. I've got every weapon, armor set, emblem, shader, you name it... I've got it. If they buff the Vex that would be cool but honestly at this point in time I just don't care. Content release with Destiny has been way to slow for a pseudo-mmo. Destiny 2 is going to have to do better with content release. RoI kept me busy for about a month or so. Then everything is completed. Nothing but crucible now and I very rarely log in. I've got For Honor,Horizon Zero Dawn, Ghost Recon, and the upcoming Mass Effect to keep me occupied.

I can only stand around in the tower and look good for so long and I get bored.

You'd love Horizon Zero Dawn then. Great storyline and awesome combat.

Thing is I'm more of a multiplayer person. That's what always drew me to Destiny. It wasn't so much the game as who I gamed with. I could overlook some of the flaws that it had since I still had fun in it. Our group was one of the most active 100io groups around and slowly people started fading away. I don't blame them. It's been since Sept. of last year since we had any kind of update. It's been almost six months since ANYTHING has happened in the game. And that's the issue with Destiny and has been all along. If you're going to be a pseudo-MMO then you are going to HAVE to release content in a timely manner.
Then they went off and completely fucked the crucible. Fucked up bladedance (which is fine since it was OP) but along with the bladedance nerf they fucked up a lot of other unintentional things. THEN they release the patch anyway knowing (and even acknowledging) that it was broken. "Our bad""We'll look into it". And only NOW they decide to make all the raids retroactive???? How fucking long have we been asking for that??? Jesus fucking christ! And none of the shit we earn in the next six months won't matter anyway since it won't carry over to Destiny 2.

 

Still, 3 years and still applying time and money into it.

 

Maybe you are. I haven't played (with the exception of private matches) since Jan. Again... I played for the friends more than the game. But just pointing out some of the game's flaws. If you're happy with the current state then I'm happy for you. I hope you still get enjoyment out of it. But the only thing that kept me playing last year was RoI and Trials.
