Think it was a Youtuber, More console maybe, I'll see if I can chase it back down. it was someone (realitively) reputable, but they were quoting a redit post from the same person who said months before we found out, about the change to the weapon types (Primary, Energy, Power from Primary, secondary, heavy)

EDIT... maybe not so "reputible" as it's Kackis... but here it is

I'm ready! I logged into D1 last night but just couldn't figure out what to do since none of it matters anymore. I ended up standing in the tower for 30 mins or so then logged out.

I thought about doing some PvP but the crucible is going to change so much in D2 I figured what's the use? The ttk is much longer and the weapon system is so much different that I'll just wait. I really do like the 4v4 format though. Should make Trials much different so I'm looking forward to that. And I'm ready for the raid. I've done my best to not look at too much because I'd like for it to be as much of a surprise as possible.

Sitting here waiting. Gonna be up all night with friends. Took a long nap today (not sure what that says about me?) and I'll have some coffee on tap. I'm ready to see what's in store for us. I've avoided YouTube all day just for that reason since everyone is streaming right now.

That's the nice thing about being retired at 46 ;) But again... not sure what it says about a 46 year old playing a videogame all night long lol. But... I grew up with video games my entire live. I started off on a Commodore 64 and moved to an Atari 2600, Intellivision, Colecovision, Sega, Nintendo, etc... So I still love video games since I've grown up with them since I grew up in the 80's.

If you have the time I HIGHLY suggest reading Ready Player One by Ernest Cline as it is an amazing book and a look back in time at pop culture from the 80's and MMO's of the future.

Lol... so does my wife. But, I've become Mr. Mom with stuff around the house. It's nice though being able to wake up and makes my daughters lunch and help get her ready for school.

But yeah... I'll be playing for as long as I can. I love the escapism that it allows. And then the Clan we have is awesome and everyone gets along so that makes it even more fun to play. The only reason I played D1 for the last few months was because of the private matches and we just go in and fuck around and shoot each other. Most everyone that wanted too went to the Lighthouse so there really wasn't much to do after that. The raids became easy mode for us but that's to be expected. We have a standing order in our Clan that 1: You must teabag if a teammate goes down during a raid (even if it puts you in danger) and 2: If someone steps away we try to push them off a ledge or kill them in some way and group teabag them when they come back lol.

Link to Ready Player One. If you grew up in the 80's you will get it. One of the best books I've read in a long time.

*EDIT* I didn't read the entire Wikipedia page but it basically gives away the entire story so try not to read it if you can.

Pretty sad that I already saw a streamer post a video of game completion. Leads me to believe the main story is short and its all the other stuff that makes it 60 hours to complete. Wonder if this is why Trials and the Raid are out in a week.
