You can, its just members of my clan must not work full time jobs or something. I played for maybe 4 hours in 2 days so I didnt have time to hit 5k before my clan hit the weekly total.
Oh well, its not an aweful thing. I get free stuff all the time.

Oh, anyone drop the raid scout yet? Its really nice when you add an element burn.

Got 3 of them. I like it. It's not that great in crucible but it does some work in PvE. The RL is still the best weapon to come out of the raid IMO. I've got every weapon out of the raid with the exception of the hand cannon. But I'm not too upset about that since I rarely use hand cannons with the exception of Sunshot. I love that gun.

i only have the raid auto, sword, and sniper. and at that, the sword came from the clan raid engram at a whopping 10 light. got it bumped to 299 now, but cant seem to get any other swords to drop to infuse.

I love the sword. It's especially nice since it regens ammo with each consecutive swing that connects. It's the best sword in the game right now.

    It is.

The way we take care of the dogs is in two rotations. First get them all low health then the second round each person has a specific dog that they are assigned to and just super him down. The swords work perfect incase your super isn't up. I really like taking it into some of the public events also. Plus... it just looks cool as shit.

And I like that the only way to get the Aura is by completing Prestige mode

we typically do dogs in one rotation. everyone knows their dog/location. get stacks up to 48 and burn them down. rotate to the next position to help if needed.

Yeah, we tend to play it safe just in case. We could get the dogs down in one rotation but if someone accidentally kills one without a stack of at least 48 then it lowers the time limit before they become restless. That is by far my least favorite part of the raid so two rotations makes it go faster and lowers the possibility of a fuck up just in case we didn't get the stack the first time. Even with two rotations it's still about a 7 min fight.

My favorite part of the raid is the gauntlet. Calus (right now) is just too easy to be a final boss.

Me too. It's much harder on the WL IMO since the WL is so floaty. The Hunter is easy mode as is the Titan.

So I'm sure most of you know this trick but just in case some don't here is a video of how to do it. It's a really good way to farm public events and double your loot. Doing strikes by the way is the least efficient way to get loot in the game at the moment. The easiest way is to farm public events on Titan since it is an extremely small space and there is almost always one public event going on at all times.

If you log into where an event is going to take place and no one is there just go to your map screen and log back into the same landing zone until you find an instance where there are some other players there. Finish the event (preferably a Heroic event) and pick up your loot. Immediately pull your map screen up and log back into the same place the event took place. More often than not another event will still be going on. So you get twice the loot as long as the other instance doesn't finish the event before you do.

Make sure you pop a medallion while you do it. It "supposedly" gives you a better shot at getting an exotic. I've picked up three today. Not that I need them since I've got every exotic in the game for my WL and Hunter. But still it's good for raising your power level.

It works best on Titan. Nessus is the next best place as long as it's the servitor next to failsafe. I get it to work probably 2/3's of the time. It really just depends on how fast the other people in the other instance take them down. If they are slower than your group then it will work. If they are just as fast or faster then it won't.

Yeah ours is rank 6 also.

Like I mentioned before, doing strikes is absolutely the worst way to grind for loot and to raise your power level (unless you just enjoy running strikes). So... Public events are the quickest way to level up. It's a shame that it's that way since it get's pretty boring but it is what it is. The thing I'm least enjoying about the game is the complete lack of unique weapons and armor. Each weapon is mostly just a reskin with a few different perks and that's about it. Armor is pretty much the same way.

I've got a set of armor and weapons I use in the raid and another set that I use in crucible. Mida and the Last Hope just destroys in crucible at the moment.

That Valacanadian I mentioned earlier just wrecks people. 720rpm, very little muzzle wander, and super fast reload. It just melts overshields and if I can maintain head shots it will outgun a Mida. Love that stupid legendary.
