How do you like GT and Battlefront 2? Seen horrible reviews for both, I played preordered Battlefront 2 played it once or twice and couldn't stand it for some reason.

Sorry back on topic... I'm pretty sure it was the NF because I unlocked it at 230, but it said I was underleveled till 240 so I tried it at 240 and got pissed because I thought I suddenly sucked at the game.

 

Gran Turismo Sport is a lot of fun to me and the friends that I play with. The racing (of course) is top notch. I don't have a way to compare it to Forza 7. Forza has always been a great series. But the car models act the way they should and they laser scanned each real world track. I LOVE the way the online racing is set up. You have a safety rating that you try to keep up and it's the only racing game that I've ever played where people actually try to have a clean race instead of running you off the track. If you do something like that your safety rating goes down and you'll be racing in a lower level. So every online race I've entered has been for the most part clean races.

Battlefront 2 got negative reviews because of the lootbox situation. In reality the lootbox's didn't give you an advantage over anyone else since it was gated by your level so you couldn't upgrade any cards until you hit a certain level. The microtransactions is what the big fallout was and I completely agree that the fallout needed to happen. Microtransactions are becoming more prevalent and that's a bad thing no matter the game. But those that were saying it was a pay to win model had 1: never played the game or 2: didn't know what they were talking about. The PvP is a blast and the loot boxes have been suspended so everyone is on an even playing field.

As far as the NF you went into... You didn't suck lol. You just tried something where you were underleveled and it's damn near impossible to solo the NF unless you are max level and running certain classes.

Last check, in GT Sport I'm 19th in the world in the Gr.3 cars with a time of 6:15.453 using the Porsche 911 RSR on the Nurburgring.

Might have to redownload Battlefront 2 and give it another shot then, just didn't like the feel of it for some reason. Need more storage on my PS4 though so if I do I'll have to delete something else...

 

You can switch between third person view or first person view. Took me a while to figure that out. I don't like third person shooters but once I switched to first person it made all the difference in the world.

Not my best game but it was the first after I switched to first person view. I'll still take 20-8 anyday. I've only gone negative once in the game so far. The visuals and sound are some of the best I've seen so far.

 

Was playing FPS I could go on crazy streaks in the first battlefront, but this one felt like I had to fight really hard to get 1 kill without dying.

 

So I played the expansion all day yesterday and "so far" I really like the changes they've made. That's not to say the game is anywhere close to where it needs to be but I'll give credit where credit is due and say that they are moving in the right direction. I'm not fond of the reuse of certain levels during the story mode but the story mode as a whole (IMO) is better than the original D2 storymode. Loot is dropping at a steady pace and new weapons have been added so that's a welcome addition. I'm curious for the 12th to roll around and we get the newer weapons as I want to see how they work.
I will say the new strikes are some of the best ones that they have put out in a VERY long time. They are a lot of fun. And as small of a change as it is, I really like the change to the sound of the Nameless Midnight scout rifle. And maybe my eyes are deceiving me but it seems to look even better on my 4k UHD monitor? That might just be me though.

I'll still criticise the game where criticism is justified but I'll also praise the work they did in a short amount of time due to all the backlash the game has received since launch. The live team did the best they could with the timeframe they had to work with and I think they did a pretty good job. We'll see how it feels in a month or so but for right now I'm enjoying just being able to play again.

 

I should also add that this was probably one of the easiest launches that Bungie has put out yet. Went off without a hitch.

 

Maybe? The game always looked good but now it looks even better (in my eyes). It looks good no matter and just keeps looking better. If this trend keeps going imagine what it will look like in a year or two as they optimise it even more?

 

Both consoles got 4k stuffs. I didnt buy the DLC yet. Gonna hold off and finish fallout 4. I got all that DLC on Black Friday.

 

It's better I'll concede to that. Hopefully it will keep getting better. But the biggest thing for me is it gives me a reason to log back in now and grind for weapons / armor which is what I like to do. I'm hopeful that the new weapon system on the 12th will make it even better.

That gun is already broken PvP with map sized kills according to reddit.

What sucks the most is if i dont buy the DLC, i have no reason to log in. Everything changed so far requires DLC (except the ability to buy 300LL legendaries)

I have a feeling that masterworks will be the same. Oh well, no point in crying over it.

 

Funny thing is, I am saving all my exotics until the 12th but I decided to burn one just for a test and see what I got. That's what showed up. Burned another and it was the same ole shit. So I'm not burning anymore until next week.

 

I've already paid for both expansions so I'll be playing them to see if they can fix all the problems in the game. "So far" they've made a decent effort. So contrary to your belief, I don't hate the game and will not always be negative. That said... I will still criticise when needed and praise them when they recognize the problem and do their best to fix it.

If you haven't already purchased it and you are looking forward to PUBG then I would hold off. There isn't "that" much difference and I'd wait until a sale.
