Awesome, I'll check that out! Just getting tired of waiting for my buddies to level up...

 

Understand that. All of us are leveled. Now I'm just chasing Masterwork weapons which gives me a reason to keep on playing.

 

Masterworks are kicking my ass right now. You go through stages. I haven't gotten one to drop today and only two yesterday. A buddy of mine I was playing with yesterday and today has had at the very least 15 drop in the last two days. RNGesus isn't on my side right now.

 

Maybe if Halo went multiplat Bungie would still be relevant lol

Finally up to 333 and finished eater of worlds for the first time last night. About freaking time.
This forging weapons is a PITA, strikes, strikes and more strikes. Oh wait, now you get to run 60-70 pub events.
Damn.

 

I got about 20 from the faction rallies last week. You just have to dig into the game and know the best ways to farm. WATCH YOUTUBE VIDEOS is all I can say. You will learn so much from watching and learning the tricks that make the game easier.

Oh... and the forging weapons... I had them done in 2 weeks. It really isn't that hard.

I read that article. It can only go one of two ways. Either Bungie gets their shit together and makes the game we want to play or they fail. That's it. I've said it before... Bungie had the perfect foundation to work from but they scrapped it for this cobbled together mess of a game. The Curse of Osiris expansion got me playing again only because there are still weapons and armor I want to grind for so that's all "I" need to keep playing. But big changes are going to have to happen or this game will fail. Once they found out the major streamers left the game I think they went into OH SHIT MODE. I'm hoping that Masterwork Armor is coming on the 30th as has been hinted so I've been saving every engram, not turning anything into the gunsmith or any planetary vendor just for the hope that if it does happen I'll have a fuck ton of shit to turn in. I've got so many exotic engrams sitting on my characters that they are now going to the postmaster.

 

You don't like crucible. Just run strikes any you will get them. You only need, what, 20? You're almost always going to get a blue to drop so you don't have to run that many strikes. It gives me a reason to play because I like the grind. Like I said... I had them all within the first 2 weeks.

 

Nope. Hate crucible. I haven't had a blue parodox drop in the last 30 strikes I've run. Had a couple that dropped two greens. No blues though.

 

Arent they in heroic strikes only?

Also, been saving tokens for next weeks update and add of masterwork armor. I have a shit ton of raid & vanguard tokens (nearly 500 each)

 

Nope they are in vanguard as well. Documented by me with @RearViewMirror the other night.
Yup, on that program as well. The tower is lit like a Christmas tree to turn shit in. It's seriously fucking with my OCD, but I'm being vigilant.

 

Yea, I wasn't sure. I had the dlc gifted to me a few weeks ago and i haven't even finished it. I still need to do the adventures, the new weapon quests, st14 and anything around the story.

Ive got 11 completions of Argos now. Both Titan and Hunter have full sets of Armor. I have master worked almost everything I wanted weapon wise. I still haven't dropped a Sins masterwork in like 15 calus clears (so i made one)

I think all im doing now is just saving up and waiting for next week. Im hoping that with masterwork armor it will help prestige mode. Just the ability to tank more damage while super makes me want to prestige once thats out.

 

Yeah, that will be nice with the boosted armor.

I have a ways to go before I prestige anything. I've only done the Leviathon raid 3 or 4 times and Eater once. A lot to remember in only a few runs.

 

I feel your pain

 

So when we're not playing Destiny 2 then we are racing in Gran Turismo Sport. I realize this is the Destiny thread but to break it up a bit since things are slowing down in D2 again, this is a race from last night with a clanmate of mine. We race almost every night. There are two videos of the same race taken from different perspectives. One is from the trackside cameras and the other is from the view inside my car. We are both driving identical Porsche 911 RSR GT3's. Every race Axe and I run ends up like this. Back and forth with clean passes and then a photo finish. This race was finished with a time difference of .002 sec's which is essentially the length of the thickness of the paint on the car lol.

If you like racing games then I highly recommend watching both videos. And if you have a PS4 then I highly recommend picking up a copy of GT Sport

Yeah, the 911 RSR's we're racing are maxed out but identical with each other to make the races about skill over car mods. It's fun racing with friends because you know your not going to intentionally get pushed off the track. Each race we do is almost exactly like the one in the videos above and it comes down to a fraction of a sec as to who is going to win. If I miss a apex I'll let him know or if he has a run on me I'll move aside to get the clean passes. So it just comes down to skill vs skill.
