Bungie's Destiny

Used to be on PS4 but they were content to just running strikes and a few raids so I started a new clan. I think there is one for Xbox though. If you're on PS4 you can join our clan. We run all the raids, PvP, Trials, etc... and we are always on.

 

Bungie back at it again with the bs they nerfed the hell out of the Orpheus rigs

 

Yeah.... that sucks most of all. I used them all the time on Night Stalker. No more instant super. Don't know why they did it because you had to KNOW when to use them effectively but whatever. If that's the worst thing that comes out of this I'm fine.

But now the tether will stop a super immediately instead of that goddamn 2 second delay in PvP which is awesome. I've started using Stomp-EE5 for a more vertical game in PvP or Frost-EE5 for faster grenade / ability cooldown.

 

They nerfed the Wromhusk Crown also (which I admit needed to be nerfed). I used it and it was cheating. Made 2v1 simple. Kill one, dodge, get your full health and shield back, and then finish off the other.

 

hunters are getting the shit end of the stick with this update for sure.

 

Ummm.... don't really see how? I main a hunter and I've had no issue in PvE or PvP. Sure Orphus Rig nerf sucked but other than that, what's the problem? Tether taking out supers immediately instead of the 2 second delay is a buff in my opinion. Now I don't mind running Nightstalker in PvP and shutting people down.

 

I run a lot of raids and orphy hunter is almost crucial for those.

 

You'll still make orbs for others just not yourself. During a raid (such as Calus) tether the middle and let someone else pop their super and you have your super back. I made it fine running raids in D1 without running an exotic such as the rigs. I agree... it sucks they nerfed them but it isn't going to hurt me one way or another. Rigs were OP no doubt and I loved them. But now I just run different things.

And to give you an idea on how much I run Nightstalker... As of this moment I have 173,365 kills as a Nightstalker alone. That's not counting Arcstrider or Gunslinger.

I've had a chance to play around with Orpheus Rigs and I don't notice much of a difference. Ran the Pyramidion NF multiple times and tethered the third room as always and got my super back immediately. In Gambit I did the same and had my tether back almost immediately every time depending on the amount of adds tethered. So I'm fine with them.

*EDIT* We've got to remember that Nightstalker is getting a new subclass super also so I'm sure there will be an exotic armor piece that will buff that super as well.

 

So today it looks like I'll be washing the cars, mowing the grass, going to the store and picking up some Rockstar, and just general cleanup around the house. The rest of my week looks to be planned out.

Sorry... That came across wrong. I haven't run EoW since the nerf. I do know that Void side and Solar side are easiest to create orbs from. Arc side is a little harder. I've been playing around with them since the nerf and I haven't noticed much difference as far as getting my super back. I've just noticed that the amount of adds tethered gets "my" super back with ease.

 

Cars washed and waxed, yard mowed, groceries bought, rockstar drinks are in the refrigerator, and now just waiting until 12pm tomorrow. I hope this expansion is good.
