It won't be as bad as you think honestly. There will be a lot of things you'll probably skip over like forging most of the weapons in CoO. That was the only good part of the expansion and I wish they would have expanded on that because it was a pretty cool idea. Other than that... running the CoO missions sucked but once you get past that Warmind isn't bad. Thing is, you'll miss all the downtime between expansions like we had to put up with during the entire first year. Then you get to jump into Forsaken which is pretty damn amazing. To the point of "where the fuck was this game last year???" lol.

 

Ha you say that...still a minute to grind out for sure! That said, I think its standard practice now to have Beta Destiny in year one...then the real game starts in year 2.

Shit, I still have the Rat King quest in my inventory.

 

It's another niche weapon. It's surprisingly good in PvP but I wouldn't give up my exotic slot for it 99% of the time.

 

Delete it unless you just want it. I've never used it other than when we first got it. It's kind of cool but meh at best.

Lol... no. It's not worth doing if all your trying to do is level up. I forget all the steps but I know you have to run the raid 2 1/2 times if I recall correctly.

I figured even having it in my arsenal would help higher drops since you don’t need them equipped anymore to help

 

If you have a group that will run you through the Leviathan raid 2 1/2 times then go for it. But you will level up much faster by just doing normal things.

Powerful engrams only drop at 1 light higher (or lower depending on the drop) than your actual overall character level. What that means is if you're in need of a chest piece sitting at 574 for instance but you pick up a primary weapon and it's a high power level it might drop at or below that level for that weapon. If you would have gotten the chest piece for the drop it would have dropped at a level one higher than your character level thus bringing up that chest piece to your character level (or above). The only place to get high power level items once you get past a certain point is doing Pretra weekly bounties, prime engrams, the raid, and the occasional exotic drop.
