Misfit is worthless in PvP. It sounds cool but other than that I throw away everyone I get.

 

I got the horror story two days ago and its not great. It does not take long at all to get. Just unlocking the quest on 3 characters gets you 30 token things.
PVP and PVE I usually run Bygones, Telesto and grenade launcher but recently changed out the grenade launcher for Crooked Fang. Tried running pve with trust and The huckleberry but kept changing back to telesto. God I love Telesto, really under rated I think because everyone wants to use Sleeper. My Bygones is not full auto though. High impact reserves and Outlaw is mine.
Reset my Gambit for the first time! Plan to do mostly gambit this week since its 3X experience for the week. Might only do Ikora and Hawthorn stuff with my titan since maxxing Gambit again would be cool.

 

I hate Telesto almost as much as the Colony lol. Don't take this wrong but I consider those no skill weapons. Colony is just fire and forget. You don't even have to aim it. Telesto is almost always a trade. Yeah... you might get the kill but in the meantime you just got killed also so it's a trade 90% of the time (at least with me it would be). Once I know the person has the Telesto equipped then I can just outplay them every time after the first trade. Strafe so all the bolts don't hit. Pretty easy after that. Telesto is OP right now as it was meant to be a short / medium range weapon but it will map people right now.

As far as your Bygone... Outlaw is a good perk but High Impact Reserves just isn't that great of a perk. Basically what it means is you would need to run around with half of your clip emptied to use that benefit which is not ideal. So the rounds in the bottom half of the mag do 1 more dmg point than the top half.

Same one that I got. I used it almost exclusively until I got the Claymore / Broadsword. It's a beast and will compete with almost every other pulse out there.

 

The only map that I'll run a scout on is Equinox. Everything else I'll run either a Pulse / Hand Cannon and shotgun. I generally rush people. If I'm running the Pulse I'll get the headshot to proc then mow through whoever is there with them since nothing can compete with a .47 sec ttk. But a shotgun is nice for clearing out close range targets.

I've got "almost" a god roll Dust Rock Blues. Graverobber is kind of a bullshit perk but it's got Moving Target which is great and it's got Smoothbore and Full Choke. They just nerfed Full Choke (as that was the god roll perk you were looking for) but Smoothbore makes up for it. Then the kicker is it's masterworked for Range which is stupid on this gun. If it just had Rampage instead of Graverobber. Oh well... It will still tear people up. I farmed the lost sector for probably two days to get this roll.

Range is as far out as you can get on a shotgun.



If I'm running the Pulse then there is no question it's the God Roll Mindbenders Ambition. The fucking impact on this gun is stupid



And in PvP I never take off the WC. Masterworked will net you two kills minimum every shot

 

Pathfinders Crash in Firebase Hades in the EDZ. You can also farm the lost sector on Mars by Clovis Bray but it takes longer. Pathfinders Crash takes about 1 min to farm. Loot the chest then go back out until you see "Firebase Hades" and then turn around and do it again. Those are the only two places that I "know" you can reliably get the Dust Rock Blues. I've gotten about 30 or so but this is the best roll that I've got so far.

 

It's boring I'll just let you know that right off. But... you can work on your WC masterwork at the same time also since the Public Event pops right outside of the Lost Sector. So anytime you see the flag up go fill up and just kill everything with the WC.

 

I know exactly where you’re coming from. I played WoW for years and I’m used to the grind.

The thing is (as if you didn’t notice already lol) once I get something on my mind I will do whatever it takes to go after that gun / armor in the game. Since I’m going to start the grind for Luna’s Howl I needed a good primary shotgun. This is one of the best. But it took me quite a while to get a decent roll. No matter what... you are looking for a range masterwork on this gun. The perks are almost secondary.

Here is the farm for the Dusk Rock Blues Shotgun. Boss will glitch out every once in a while and fall down like he did in the video. I got a shit roll on the shotgun and just deleted it but this was only my third time in the lost sector so it drops I'd say an average of once every ten times or so.

Max Range and same stability as the original

 

Well I finally killed the meetball in gambit. Seen him 3 times. I also almost reset my gambit twice this week. Problem is I killed the meetball after playing all week trying to reset so now my clan buddies are sick of gambit and I'm just starting the quest. The strike was crazy hard as well. After I did the strike it gave me 20% of the gambit wins for free even though I haven't played after finishing the strike. I'll take it though!

 

It's not too bad. The hardest part for me was it requires you to deposit around 400 motes in Gambit IIRC? Since I'm usually doing the invading I very seldom deposit many motes and just feed kills for my teammates. So when I got to that part of the quest I just let someone else invade and deposited 10 motes fast as there shouldn't be an invader come on the field within the first few mins of the match. After that it was just 5 mote's each time after that. The penalty is high if you drop motes as it will set you back double. So if you drop 10 motes it will set you back 20 and so on. After you get that done you have to get a team wipe on an invasion which wasn't hard for me since I do all the invading. You can either do it that way or rely on a teammate to get it done for you but they have to get 4 team wipes instead of one for you to get the quest completed.

The Malfeasance is still meh at best even after the buff. But it's still a gun in the game that I wanted so I got it. I never use it though.

 

I doubt I'll use the gun I just want it! I usually deposit tons of notes while one of 2 of my buddy's always invades. I'm confident they can team wipe 4 times for me. Getting 400 motes and 10 wins will take time and a team. We did 5motes at a time and melting point and the warlocks new arc super to melt the prime evil. Works very well.
Basically titan shoulder charges after the witches are dead then blade barrage and warlock super melt him in seconds!

I can do it. The best I've done is 3 team wipes in a row with one of those being a 5 kill since I stood in their respawn. I think that was the game I got 26 guardians on one match just from invasions alone.

 

You dont need 4 wipes in one game if someone else does it do you? Just wipes with me on the wipers team?

 

If you have the quest and you are at that part you either have the option of going over and wiping the other team in one invasion yourself "or" letting someone else go over and invade four times and get a team wipe each time on your behalf. If you choose the latter, It doesn't have to be in one match. They just have to be a cumulative of four team wipes done by another player on your team during one invasion.

 

Finished the wins and mote banking pretty quickly. After the first night I was at 69 percent motes and 80 percent wins. Finished that last night on my titan.
I then switched to my warlock to finish leveling her supers and get bounties to reset gambit the second time. Got it reset and along the way killed the meetball again twice throughout the night! Sadly I wiped a team and killed like 4 or five invaders but with my warlock who doesnt have the quest!
I dont get people that bitch about gambit. Its a great game even if you solo and get your ass handed to you. I probably won 50 percent going in solo and killed the meetball twice as well.

 

It's just harder going in solo. I won't play unless we play with our team but that's just us. I love Gambit. I've gotten everything that I can get out of it now so I'll play if someone is needed help with a quest but other than that I just kind of avoid it. My hunter is maxed out for PvP and PvE so he is finished. Leveled the WL yesterday from scratch and he's sitting at 589 but I'm just waiting on reset and hope the spider sells phaseglass needles so I don't have to farm for them. If he is I'll be damn close to 600 in one day of playing. If not... I'll just have to farm phaseglass. Finished up the well of radiance subclass as that comes in handy in the raid. Now I'm going to start on the Nova Warp because that super is stupid strong in PvP. I "might" level up the Chaos Reach subclass also just for fun.

 

All my characters are 600, have been for a while but I have lots of time to play. Work 8 hours then I'm on call so when I'm on call I usually have the playstation on and lap top open to work!
All supers are done except the warlock. Almost maxed out void but got a little way to go for well of radiance. That takes forever to level until you get the punch then it is quicker. Blind wells are good for leveling the well of radiance.
Played some crucible for the first time as a nova warp warlock and that super wrecks!

 

Oh yeah... Nova warp is OP if played properly. The easiest way to level up the well of radiance is to put a pair of sunbracers on so you can melee and then through 6 solar grenades. I had it done in about an hour by doing it that way. It comes in clutch in the raid especially if you are wearing lunafaction boots so you never have to reload.
