Ya, I was just trying to finally reach the highest level before it changes again. I don’t play enough to reach the highest level on one, much less all three of my characters before it changes again.

 

I could get them on my WL but I just don’t play it enough. I main the hunter all the time

 

Glad I’m not the only one.

 

One thing about it... the soft cap will move up pretty fast so no reason in knocking yourself out trying to get to 600 if you aren't there before reset. You'll be trying for 650 and we'll all be in the same boat.

 

Okay... this is just sad. I'm running the quest for the fusion rifle from the vanguard and I'm using a setup that I don't particularly care for. Main Ingredient, Thunderlord, and Arcstrider and I get more kills then both of them combined??? Oh well... moved me pretty far into the quest that's for sure.

 

When is the next curse week? I'd like to give the Wish Ender quest a go. My light is only 540 so I don't think I can start the quest for it anyway. Trying to build it up as fast as I can. Need it higher for the Malfeasance quest too so I can do the mission in the Dreaming City. I haven't done any raids so I mostly just wait for the weekly reset to get better gear.

 

Two weeks from now. The curse was at its worst last week.

 

Wishender is a cool bow and fun to play with. But other than shooting the eggs around the Dreaming City I can't see me using it. I'm glad I finally got around to picking it up as I have been concentrating on other things in the game but it's nice for the collectionist in me. The Malfeasance is still a meh gun but again, I'm glad I got it for the collection even though I never use it.

 

Gotcha. I don't go to the DC much. Might explain my ignorance. I'm mostly just interested in the collection side of it as well, but I'm also pretty clueless as far as what weapons are worthwhile. I've got stuff sitting in my vault that I never really used. Usually just use the stuff I think looks cool. I'll just keep building my light up in the meantime. Maybe I'll be caught up enough to try it during the next curse week.

 

If you're 540 or so you can go into the DC with no problem. Make sure you pick up Petra's bounties and that will give you a large bump in power level for completing them. The regular milestones are okay for leveling up but the NF, Petra's bounties, prime engrams, and the raid are where the large jumps in power level come from.

Go into Gambit and get a good roll on a Bygones Pulse Rifle and a Trust Hand Cannon. Those are still a top tier weapons. Do the Ace of Spades quest as it's still a really good Hand Cannon. Farm the NF for NF specific weapons (if you can). If you play any PvP at all make sure to play the Meta. If you don't you will get your ass handed to you.

 

I got a few to drop. One is a god roll.

 

Been to the DC for some bounties and stuff just didn't stick around much. Tried an ascendant challenge and got frustrated after dying every time. I'll give all those all a try though. I haven't done a NF yet either so I guess I'm really slacking.

I'm actually hoping for a Trust. Gotten nearly all other Gambit weapons except that one. And Ace is one of my favorites so far. Really like that gun. I can't seem to get my shit together in the crucible. Likely from a lack of playing it but man do I get my ass kicked regularly in there. Could also be weapon choice. I have a lot to learn I guess. Just going to keep at it and I should be one of the cool kids eventually.

I don't play with it anymore since I got the Broadsword. But I still get killed by it every so often. It's still a great gun.

Only 8500 people were able to get the Claymore. Rough guess... out of the million or so that play Destiny I’d imagine that only around 20,000 or so might have it now

 

In case anyone didn't know... Black Armory weapons are dropping from Saboteurs in the EDZ and Nessus





I know a RL drops also... Just haven't gotten it yet.

Actually what I think this is (and I could be wrong) are weapons that they didn't bring forward with Forsaken and put them in the Black Armory pool with the same name but added number's behind those names (and a different shader) along with random rolls. I've got 3 pulse rifles and one of them has a good roll on it.

 

I have 2 of the "full set of season 4 armor" quests still and I can't get the damn ancient apocalypse helmet. Think I'm missing some vigil of heroes stuff too. I know they aren't major quests and the loot is probably useless but I hate having unfinished quests. Like the Leviathan raid quest...had that since I started playing.

On a positive note I got Wavesplitter from Ikora last night. Thought that was pretty neat.
