After this quest step you have to go into the New Dungeon and pick up a couple special items. Then face a specific boss to complete the quest. You can watch a video on how it's done or I'll post it once I finish it.

 

So I couldn't sleep last night and finally got tired of laying in bed at 4am. So I figured I'd try to solo the new Dungeon. It took me 5 tries before I got it right and figured out were things spawn. Now I've got it down on the first encounter. I actually think it is easier to solo since you can "sword fly" across the map to where you need to go next. It's a 22 min video because I was playing my life and trying to not get killed. If you die it puts you back at the start. Then I got lost at the end and didn't see the door but I figured it out. It's really easy to solo now that I know what I'm doing. Got a damn good Tranquility Sniper Rifle out of the first chest.

Pfft. Did that shit on day one when it came out. Minus beating the boss....and everything else.
The fall down there was anti climatic though.

Well I got recluse, now just scout kills for randys which is going slow. Now's the time for scout kills as Jade rabbit one shots in momentum control. Also working on the jades catalyst.

 

I don't envy you on that quest. Although the new game mode should make the Scout Rifle final blows easy. Just remember if you haven't moved your Metals earned bar go in with a Fusion Rifle and get cold fusion medals once you get your Scout Rifle kills. That was the fastest way I found.

I'm done the metals, at 48 percent scout kills now. Almost done jades catalyst as well. Its very painful.

And I got the new dongeon done as well! Got anther set of 951 gloves for my hunter, thats 3 now, the 2 others are from iron banana.

 

IB was sweaty AF last night. Only went negative once but that was because I got dropped into a game already in progress and all the supers were popping off. But Jesus... Of course running it solo isn't ideal.

So... Randy's Throwing Knife? Took it in the night before with @Pchop just for some regular crucible and it performed better than I thought it would being a Scout Rifle in a non Scout Rifle meta. Was at the top of the leaderboard each game. But I think part of that reason is it is a fucking laser beam and it fires at 260 RPM full auto. It will map people even on the largest maps considering it has very little recoil. Anything closer... the Recluse comes out. But, I will say this, once it turns into a mid to close range battle you better have a good back up as it is not very good at close range (which is where the Recluse, shotgun, or a good fusion rifle comes in). But for controlling lanes? It's a beast. One of the intrinsic perks that I didn't know it had on it is a large amount of flinch that it causes. I can go head to head with snipers (unless they are running no distractions) and knock them out of their aim. So snipers aren't a threat if you see them scoped and get the first shot off. Took it into IB last night and got all the bounties done in about 10 games. It performed very well.

Now... Is it worth the grind to get? That depends on if you want it I suppose? It's a great gun but there are many great guns in the game that are just as good and maybe even better. It has a certain niche that it performs very well in. But if you try to do something outside of controlling lanes I think there are better weapons. I'm glad I got it and you have to adapt to the weapon not the other way around. It excels at certain things but it is not a jack of all trades weapon. It's a 3 tap weapon with all crits. 4 tap with 3 crits and a body shot. So your ttk will vary.
