No problem. I'll help out as much as I can. Getting ready to run one more Trials card (for myself) in a few mins.

Now... If someone want's a specific Pinnacle weapon from PvP? That service isn't free for TW or anyone for that matter lol. It is very dependent on what weapons someone has in their inventory to complete different parts of the quest line. Something like the Revoker quest line would be $200 just for the shear amount of work it is to get that weapon. Depending on what Sniper someone has in their inventory can make that quest line painful.

Suros and Mindbenders is a very good combo. Especially in Control or Clash. I see them every so often in Trials but never toward the end of the card. Hard Light just has the benefit of no damage drop off, a very deep mag that you can fire down a hallway to push people back, ricochet rounds which do double damage upon hit (that shit needs to be changed btw), and the ability to take on two opponents at once and still have a fighting chance to come out alive.

I hope they adjust Hard Light (and I'm not one to call for nerfs). But if nothing else, make the ricochet rounds do half damage instead of double damage on hit. It makes zero sense to be rewarded for bouncing bullets off a wall into a target you can't even see. Talk about no skill involved Then also maybe add in some damage drop off. With the catalyst it isn't hard to reach out to Pulse Rifle territory. They can leave the rest alone. At least it would give some other weapons a fighting chance.

 

Looking though some of my videos and found this. Still get my ass kicked from time to time. Sometimes it can't be avoided.

This is a perfect example of why you don't run IB solo. They really need to do something with the spawn trap on Dead Cliffs. Once you get trapped by an aggressive team this is what happens. Not unhappy with my plays considering how aggressive the other team was. My team did me no favors.

Got the Sniper but I give up on getting the roll that I want.

Accurized rounds are great. If it only had Snapshot and Moving Target with a Handling Masterwork. The odds of me getting that roll are close to zero.

 

Got on tonight and played a couple more games after finishing my Trials card. I may or may not been a little bit high at the time. But it was fun anyway.

Maybe I should play high (hypothetically) more often

Yeah, Rich giggling in the Mercy Kill video was funny as shit. That was a route, I dont know how we got matched up to them, totally lopsided. When the entire team goes negative, thats is a poor match up.

The funniest part of the first video is Rich sitting on the ground throwing fireballs at anything that is moving........including his own team mates. I remember you saying something during the match, but its even funnier when you see what you were looking at.

The same way I got matched up with that group in the IB video above. They spawn trapped us in the back of Dead Cliffs and once that happens on that map there isn't much you can do about it. It's not that they were a worse team, it's just how it plays out in the first minute of the match that pretty much decides how the match is going to go. As soon as I peaked with the Sniper right at the first and saw the dude going low and cut him off, I had a pretty good idea how it would play out. They were spaced out pretty far the entire match until we spawn trapped them in their spawn and then when I threw the tether it didn't help their cause. If they hadn't broken up the teams and we could have played them again, things might have turned out differently. I ended up with 17 kills on a very short match so that didn't help them either.

 

Okay, so this is pretty cool. Buddy of mine that I play with asked if I would help his 9yr old son in PvP. Told him sure thing. So his son and I played PvP for quite a while this morning and man... does he ask a lot of questions lol. Unfortunately his mic wasn't set to output so you can only hear my side of the conversation. But it was a lot of fun playing with him and helping him out. I did my best not to cuss but a couple slipped out. This was our last match and he asked at the end "am I good at PvP" lol. Not bad at all. At least he went positive every match.

Yeah, I couldn't go to a pc. Not the same. Plus I like sitting in my recliner in front of my 55" with a beer and my feet kicked up.

 

I play on Stadia occasionally, I use the DS4Windows app to connect my PS4 controller. Works remarkably well.

Fucking yes!!!! Bungie responded and responded quickly! Hard Light will be adjusted tomorrow morning! Almost the exact adjustments that I was asking for. Now I can use other weapons in Trials.
