So VoG is easy mode now. Went back and started from the beginning with the WL and had the Templar down within 30 mins. I was afraid they would lower the difficulty level down too much and they did. Once you get the mechanics down, it's stupid easy. Hopefully they will come out with a hard mode.

Did get the Vision of Confluence to drop along with Corrective Measure

VoC... Not sure how good of a roll this is yet since I haven't had a chance to test it out. I know Scout Rifles basically suck right now in D2. In D1 the VoC was one of my favorite Scout Rifles but until they decide to bring Scout Rifles into more relevance... I just don't see a place for them. There is a reason that you rarely see a Scout in PvP. Because they all suck with the exception of Dead Mans Tale.

I am curious if Kill Clip will proc with Rewind Rounds? If it does it might be a good roll since its a 1:2 ratio on the number of bullets refunded upon hits. So if you land all 15 shots then it should refund 7. If Kill Clip procs after that it might not be bad since you will have 7 bullets refunded and Kill Clip would proc again giving you 3 more rounds as long as you are continually hitting your target. So theoretically if you never miss a shot you shouldn't have to reload until 25-26 rounds are fired with hopefully half of them with Kill Clip proc'd. If not? It's a wasted perk.



Corrective Measure. Can't say much more about this except it's a really good roll. Dynamic Sway on a high firing Machine gun is always welcome.

 

Because these are dedicated groups going for “World's First”. I’m only hard core in PVP. I play to win. Which is why I’m in our regular clan and then am part of two different hard core PvP groups.

In raids? I play to have fun and just learn the mechanics blind. After that it’s just fucking around in the raids if I like them. Luckily I love VoG. I HATED DSC though so I only played it 4 times and never stepped foot back in there.

*EDIT* When you can one phase the Templar? It’s too fucking easy.

 

So…. The VoC just sucks in D2. It feels just like it did in D1 but D2 just isn’t set up for Scout Rifles. There are hundreds of other weapons that will do a better job. I hate it but it is what it is. Hung Jury is the same way.

I used a Summoner Auto Rifle with Dragonfly with a Dragonfly Mod yesterday in VOG and it will clear adds like crazy.

 

The only primary weapons I us in PvP are Hand Cannons. 120’s rule right now. But a few seasons ago it was a 600 rpm Auto Rifle meta. The meta will shift once again. My guess is the next meta shift will favor 140 rpm Hand Cannons or maybe even rapid fire Pulse Rifles. But if you go into PvP without a Hand Cannon you’re at a disadvantage. But there are a couple of standouts like the Gridskipper Pulse Rifle. But it still can’t complete with the range and TTK of a 120 Hand Cannon. For ease of use? The Last Word full stop.

 

I ran the Hunter also set up kind of like you did. Pop a Tether and then everyone is able to chain supers. Then you get your super back. Rinse and repeat. Xenophage for the Oracles and Hobgoblin Snipers.

 

The one you posted isn't a PvP Hand Cannon. Not bad for PvE but due to its low mag and slow reload? Not really a viable PvE weapon either. Hits like a truck.

This is the one I use most often if I'm not using the Igneous Hammer in PvP



Ricochet Rounds, Quick Draw, and Iron Grip make this one stable long reaching Hand Cannon. It's my second most used Hand Cannon in PvP
