    @RearViewMirror

You know me well enough that I’m not a huge PVP player. I’ll drop in for the weekly pinnacle but that’s about it.

for PVE, the headstone on the Luna and dragon fly on the 1k are good! Headstone is kinda like the stasis version of dragonfly when you double tap it after a precision kill. Hitting 3-4 enemies in one swoop is kinda nice.

The sparrow run in the dungeon is the funnest part and it reminds me of the warthog run on the pillar from halo. Somehow, someway, even at 160 the Always on Time seems to be the fastest sparrow in the game right now. Pit any 160 sparrow against it and it always seems to pull ahead we are using that in the bomb run and if it’s run right, never have to worry about time.

The always on time also has 6 “boosts” as opposed to the normal 4 for all other sparrows.

Always on time is the fastest sparrow in the game even though it shows it's a 160. It's noticeably faster.

It came from Scourge of the Past Raid. I was lucky enough to get it and it's always been faster than any other sparrow. It also has the perk where you don't get shot at as much and it doesn't take as much damage if you do. Makes sense since Scourge of the Past had the sparrow racing the giant servitor. After you got that sparrow it made that part so much easier.

Stayed up last night until 1:00am playing Trials. Didn't get to play much this weekend due to Christmas and everything. Created a game and one from our clan joined and then we had someone else since I made the game public. Went okay but about as well as I expected. Neither of them were bad at all. But we only made it to the fourth round before getting a flawled passage.

Then, I did something that I hate doing. Got on Bungie and started looking at LFG. For anyone that hasn't done LFG I can tell you it's pretty entertaining. First group I got in had mics but didn't speak at all. Surprisingly we also made it to the fourth round before getting knocked out. The next few groups, someone would get pissed if they lost a match and bounce (usually the person with the lowest kills). The last group I got in were surprisingly cool and had the talent. We gelled really well as a group. Made it to the sixth round and one of the other guys lost connection right at the beginning of the match. We 2v3'd the entire match but it ended at 3/5. Other guy was able to get back in but we were on our mercy and we got our ass stomped buy a better team. I've no doubt that we could have gone all the way but it was late and we called it quits. Way it goes sometimes. At least they were cool.

That sparrow is one of the reasons that the sparrow racing portion of the dungeon is super easy once you figure out where the mines are to extend your time. Hell... you can miss some mines and still make it with plenty of time. I don't know why it says 160 when it's really a 180 (or something like that)?

It never dropped for me in the raid and I had to use spoils to get it. I’ve course I didn’t run the raid that much.

I’m usually running the mines and have it pretty nailed down. Every once in a while I misjudge a turn or something and blam right into a wall that buggers the whole run.

kinda reminds me of the warthog run across the back of the pillar of autumn in the first halo.

I got it to drop during one of the first few runs through Scourge. Not sure how rare of a drop it is since I only ran that raid a handful of times since I really didn't care for that raid much. Got the Anarchy only after Bungie introduced RNG improvement. You start off with a 5% chance of getting Anarchy (or any raid specific exotic) to drop and each consecutive run boosts it up to an eventual 50% chance of it dropping. Course, that still means you could have shit luck even with RNG improvement. We have a few in the clan that have run VoG over 50 times and still have not had the Vex drop for them. I got it to drop on my 31st run through VoG but I've seen it drop for multiple other people many times. Doesn't really matter since I can just pull another one out of collections and put it on another character. But I never got the 1k Voices or Eyes of Tomorrow to drop. I'll never have those weapons unless they sell them in the kiosk for spoils. I fucking HATE DSC with a passion. Only ran it 4 times and that was enough to get the Trustee Scout Rifle and then I used all my spoils to farm better rolls on the final chest. Last Wish is a damn good raid though and I would run it again. It was probably mechanically / mentally challenging raid Bungie has ever put out. But I never got 1k Voices to drop and I ran Last Wish more than I care to admit.

So the PvP changes are pretty evident. Buddy of mine is running his way up to 5500 to get his "Unbroken" title so I've been helping him out. You have to hit 5500 in three different seasons so it takes about a year to get due to the way the seasons are spaced out. At the 7:00 mark you will see how easy it is to get shut down out of a super now. Dude double sniped me out of it. Even if it were a 70rpm Sniper it wouldn't have knocked me out of a super with two body shots. But, I'm not complaining. I'm glad they made the game more about gun skill instead of ability spam. But speaking of ability spam... This is why you see me drop rifts at random areas of the map sometimes. I'm running double "bomber" mods on my class item so each time I use my class ability I gain my grenade energy back. This way I can almost always have an Arc Soul up at all times.

Our teammate sure didn't help out much lol.

Lol... So we ran the Dungeon all night last night and I finally got around to getting the ornament for the GH triumph completed. Ran it on my Titan and that was pretty funny. I CLEARLY do not know what I'm doing while playing a Titan. So far I've only concentrated on Arc Subclass because I really like the movement speed that it gives you. Reminds me of Icarus Dash on the WL only faster. But during the Ogre encounter I switched to Void and was going to bubble where we were going to do damage from. Turns out... you have to hold the super activation rather then just press it. I told my buddy "this bubble is going to look a lot like Sential Shield" lol. Needless to say, I died often from missed jumps to not activating my super correctly. But I did get almost every piece of armor out of there with the exception of the arms. We'll run it some more today. Maybe I'll get them to drop.

Mysterious disturbance is up this week on the moon for those needing those exotic catalysts. Just time slip and equip the weapon you need kills with and go ham.

Can confirm this is a very easy way to get catalyst done with heavy weapons

Depends on the catalyst. Some have specific requirements. The ones requiring straight kills, this is an effective means. Considering every time you pull the heavy chest it reloads your special as well, might as well knock out those catalysts that require kills on the kinetic, energy and heavy weapons.

I think I’ve got all my catalyst’s done on all my weapons. Only one I’m missing is Outbreak Perfected. Never got around to getting the catalyst before the mission went away.

I think the funnest cheese was the sun shot catalyst. Enemies moving against each other on Nesus and you shoot one and watch the chain reaction.

i also have a ton left to get knocked out.

The Thralway in the shattered throne dungeon is the funnest place to get kills like that. It’s just getting there that’s a pain. You can afk some weapons due to the chain reaction.

Forgot to mention... the Concealed Void Lost Sector is the 1320 Lost Sector today. It's an easy Lost Sector to do and it is dropping the Exotic Helm. I don't have many exotics on the Titan (obviously) so I ran it and Precious Scars Helmet is dropping for the Titan. Takes about 5-6 mins to run it.

Here's how I did it and what I used. Easy farm.
