I got in a group with some kid that was a 29 and wanted to be the sword bearer on HM... I left immediately. That was a fail looking to happen.

 

at least he would try to pick it up... unlike rob

 

I'll run it with you. Since we don't have a group that has the damage ability it won't be a problem with the LFG. Most experienced groups have enough damage to down Crota as long as there are 2 GH or 2 Hunger.

 

Kid was motivated I'll give him that. Unlike someone that is terrified of the relic and also dismantled the Vex

I should be. Depends on how fast AT&T finishes our house automation. They are tearing my house the fuck apart right now and say it will be around 8 hours

I guess... It's not a dick move if we keep wiping though. If you pick up the relic and we wipe no big deal. At least you tried. You have to learn how to do it at some point (I did). You can't stand around looking at it for 2 seconds in HM waiting for someone to pick it up though or it will most definitely be a wipe. The relic carrier has the easiest job in Atheon IMO. Other than the Minotaur on the Venus port it's not hard at all.

It took me until just the other week to get the epilogue. Funny since i thought it was a high drop rate weapon

 

Now I have two of those marshmallow shooters lol.

I really really want them to put in trading. If they dont do that i think this game wont be going anywhere

 

Oversoul Edict and Abyss Defiant are both hard mode only drops as well. Both of which I got on my first HM last night. With me and 1 other person lol. Stopped after the bridge though. Ran a full normal mode and got swordbreaker again, and repeat gear that immediately turned into shards.

 

If they put in trading the game will be ruined I think. To many farmers will be selling stuff and people can just have their hard core gamer buddies hook them up. Everyone will be max level with ultimate gear immediately. It takes out the rewards of hard work.

 

I just looked it up, the four primary weapons are HM only. Seems everything else drops in normal.

I dont think that at all. Plus people still have to work to a certain level to use gear.

They should implement a diablo style gear level requirement instead of just making everything lvl20. Say for the new raid gear youd have to be level 28 or 29 already just to equip it. new raid weapons require lvl 30 or something. That way people are still working for leveling up, but can also obtain that gear while doing so without just being handed to them. But even if its handed to them then they still have to level up to use them.

Granted people could still hold onto lower level light armors and hand them out with the higher armor, but that requires a lot of storage to keep and lost materials like shards.

 

Fine, I'll run the relic. I just like doing the other shit, not scared.

 

I got the Epilogue the other day also for the first time. I just have it on the character and level it up as I turn in bounties. I might use it on my mule WL and see if it's worth a shit.

This is how I think they should do trading in the game so it wouldn't be ruined. If you are in the same fire team or raid group and you get a weapon you will never use or one that you already have (or armor) you should have a 10 min timer to have the option to give that raid / fire team member the piece that they can use. Trades could only be performed with Raid / Fire Team members and after the 10 min timer is done the weapon / armor remains yours just like now.

If I got another Hunger and someone doesn't I should have the option of giving that item to another member so they can get a better piece instead of me having 2 or more of the same weapon.

This of course could be tweaked but it would be a start.

 

You don't have too if someone is in there that has run the relic and is comfortable with it. But if 3 get ported that haven't then someone will have to immediately. If we wipe no big deal but you will understand the workings of it. If no one picks it up then it is a instant wipe anyway. Hell I like shooting shit too but the mechanics of the game just call for different things to do. I know you wan't to pew pew with your suros

 

I have picked it up before ya know. I get the buttons confused. Last time I grabbed it, I jumped, hit the wrong button and threw the damn thing, it landed in the bushes and I blacked out before I could find it.
