Oh.. That is one reason I HATE RNG. It is completely unfair and stupid. When you kill a certain boss in the game they should have a guaranteed drop for that boss and a "/roll" system as in other MMO's or a Master Loot system to where someone is leader of the raid (if you're in a clan / guild) and run DKP to dole out loot.

 

Yea. The system is broken. I ranked up with the queen and received a rare Sniper rifle. Really? A rare sniper rifle. Wtf am I going to do with that crap? It does seem though that Bungie is going to fix the loot system in the TTK. At least that is what they have said. No longer will a players level depend on drops. I'm sure you all have seen the new level cap of 40. Light level in armor is going away. They are supposed to look at what items a player has and that will govern what drops and what does not. Any legendary armor and weapons you have will not be useless but it will not be as good as year two legendary gear.

I'm sure you all know about this and I guess I'm just preaching to the choir. I did have fun playing the crucible last night. Got my ass kicked but did receive better drops in there than I have ever received in the PvE. No armor but I got a Ill Will.

Haha. It looks very promising and has got me excited. I bitch about it but I do have fun playing it. I'm thinking about creating a Titan as I still have one empty slot. 32 Hunter and 22 Warlock right now. I have the Glasshouse helmet and legendary armor for a Titan in my vault. I figure if you can level a character up to the level required to play TTK I could do that with the Titan. What do I have to lose

 

Missed this. Although I actually do like those proposed changes they should have taken place a long time ago. That said... (and I'll be the first to eat my own words here) it has me intrigued.

EDIT: Did VoG last night and it bugged out on us so many times we had to go back to orbit more than once to reset the check point. We encountered bugs anywhere to where Atheon wouldn't take damage, blowing up for no reason while waiting for a cleanse after the last orcal was killed inside Venus, to spawning outside the bubble when others got ported in which in turn was a instant death.

If they can't fix this after almost a year you can understand my reservations that they can release a entirely new expansion.

 

Don't know if it was mentioned here or on planet destiny, but you will be able to bump one character up to 34 instantly with TTK. Necessary for the addition of new players so they aren't alienated. This means wait to create a character and get an instant 34 Titan, although you will have to unlock the abilities, but that's what red bull codes are for if you have them!

 

Ok so once I have downloaded TTK then create? If I do so now wouldn't I still be able to level him to 34 once it comes out?

 

If that's the case we shouldn't have had to pay for the "beta" version. Just sayin.

 

I deleted my hunter at 26 (because I hate the jump and I just suck with it). Leveled another WL since I had a full set of Raid Armor in less than one day. Was done with both sub classes within a week.

I would go ahead and create, just don't worry about grinding it out. Still don't know if we will start at level 20 or 34 since they are getting rid of light levels, we are technically level 20s with no light.

 

Gotcha. Destiny, Fallout and more! I'm not going to want to adult this fall.

 

Haha, I know. Can't wait for fallout 4 too. Then uncharted 4 next year. I have to keep myself in check so I will only play certain days in the week at certain times, because adult.
