    I think the poll is accurate....In-N-Out, then Five Guys is exactly how I'd rate 'em. That for a chain though, not Mom N Pop shops of course.

    Had Five Guys for the first time today, both my wife and I....

    Versus In-and-Out?

    Burgers? Very close. Both are very good - but both of us definitely give the edge to In-and-Out. Five Guys was good, but more generic style good (very fresh ingrediants).

    Fries? Five Guys fries SUCK. I mean suck bad. I literally pulled one of their employees aside and asked them is this is how they normally were. So In-and-Out fries are definitely better - however I will say that there are much better fries out there than In-and-Out. My wife, who has the opposite taste than me for fries (I like crispier, she likes less so) completely agreed. Very disappointed in their fries given all we had heard.
