Burning out headlights

    The point I was getting to was leaving your lights on all the time usually means they are on while turning the truck on (surge from alternator) which significantly lowers headlight lifespan.

    8.5 Fisher XV2, some switches, some lights.
    Sylvania doesn't like to admit it, though. They say 1-2 years on the box but I don't think I ever had a set that made it past 6 months. GE at least tells you right on the box when you buy the lights that the brighter they are the less time they last.

    You do know that drop in HID and LED conversions ARE illegal for street use right? (all 50 states and 29 countries)

    legality says the WHOLE headlight unit must be converted to an approved unit to run LED or HID.....

    Amazon has a $5 off coupon on those right now. Its supposed to apply at checkout I think. I almost ordered them, but decided on the VisionPlus set instead. Let us know how you like them.

    I’m just starting year 3 on a set of Philips Vision Plus +60’s. Great bulbs. Nice white light. Slightly brighter than OEM.
