Burnt passenger seat on 1st day..

Ouch what a bummer. Seat covers to hide, out of sight, out of mind….. maybe.

 

Time to join AA if you are burning up your own seats man!

 

I've often wondered...
I've made the concious effort not to leave anything exposed in my truck that could cause this, for exactly this reason; particularly eyeglasses.

Now you can't write off the question "was it ever smoked in" when trading it in. And to counter you can say i swear never seen smoke, but it has had some drinks. Try a different type of vodka maybe?

Not sure if this will interest you, but I just picked up my Tacoma TRD Sport this week and am thinking to buy new (real leather) skins to replace my factory (faux?) leather seat covers; if you can hold on a month or so I'll gladly pass the covers off to you.

I am almost certain toyota sells the front seat fabric as a replaceable part. I would buy that and get an upholstery shop to install.

 

I know there is the perception that bags are wasteful, but in my state, liquor store are required to "bag" your bottles... You can't walk out the door w/ a naked bottle in your hand.

I assume your bottle shop didn't offer to bag?

I've never had Costco bag a bottle.

 

In Washington hard liquor is available at any grocery store over a certain size (edit: and in my county, they charge .08 for bags). Also, Costco doesn't have bags, just boxes. I've had naked booze bottles on my seat a few times after a quick trip to Costco.
