So I have JBA UCA's with their "synthetic elastomer" bushings, and Dobinson's leafs, with their polyurethane bushings, and the greasable shackle bolts. I've been using Mobil1 synthetic on everything, but I emailed JBA recently, and he said do not use the red grease, and suggested
Mobilgrease XHP 222 Special which is a lithium, moly grease for their bushings, as well as their ball joints. Is this grease safe for the polyurethane as well? I'd prefer not to keep seperate greases for everything, but I will, if need be.

Also, will the mini-grease guns work well enough to get the grease where it needs to be? They seem to generate 3500-4500 psi.

    I would follow JBA's suggestion.

The mini-grease guns will work. I have one. The only problem I have is it can be difficult to find the grease you want in a mini-tube.

I don't like the big grease guns, simply because I don't use that much grease. Takes years for me to use up a big tube.

Do you know if that xhp 222 grease is safe for the polyurethane bushings in the rear?

    Sorry, I can't say.

You could find and compare the MSDS data between what JBA recommends and the XHP222.
