    The OEM clips aren't used anymore.

    Only drilling into the the truck is two small holes and that it.

    You also have to drill out all the holes for the decorative bolts to go through on the flare.. I dont know why Bushwacker didn't just pre-drill them

    all my hex bolt holes were predrilled, they always predrill and install the rubber when they are paint matched. if you dont like the hex bolts then get the non-pocket style flares. they look like stock but just give you more coverage.

    Sorry sort of dark. But I'll get better pics later.

    Now for WIW.

    What additional coverage does these BW give??????

    Here's the facts!

    The front stock fenders from the strut tower out is 15".
    The front with the BW fenders from the strut tower out is 15.5"
    A gain of .5" of tire coverage.:confused::crapstorm::der:

    The rear stock fenders from the bedside wall out is 15"
    The rear with the BW fenders from the bedside out is 16"
    A gain of 1" of tire coverage.:rolleyes:

    Well I guess BW claim of 1.75" of additional coverage is just that! A claim.

    Let the truth be known!!
    Here's the facts!~

    Nice, and great info too. Your flares are perfectly color matched. I have always liked your truck.

    One more question for Toku and/or 05prerunner. When you guys intsalled the flares, since the factory clips are no longer used, do the Bushwackers hold tight against the body of the truck, toward the top of the flare? It seems that going from 15 or so clips to just the 4 bolts would make it sit loose, no? Thanks.
