Roughly 3k on the estimate, found out this morning that my deductible change i put in didnt take effect yet so 500 is what i have to pay. I called last week like Wednesday and raised it to 1000. That is just for the cab, bed, flare, and step.

The kids on my street play out in the street, so i was driving outta my driveway. I thought i saw one of them dart towards me so i checked the wheel. In checking the wheel i hit the post of my chain link fence. which in turn, bent my step, dented my cab, and fucked up the side of the bed.

With Parts, Paint, and Labor it was 3k, i only paid my deductible which was 500

Kids shouldn't be allowed to play on the street. I know my 5 year old isn't allowed on the road without me with him. Most of the parents don't even care and send them out unattended.

Sorry to hear about your truck. $500 isn't to bad out of pocket for that damage, at least you didn't have to pay the full price. I'm glad the outcome wasn't worst

    Yep.
thanks for the update. glad you just had to pay the deductible and I agree 1000 times on kids in the street. See that a lot around here and I know when I was growing up no kids were near the street.
