So I’m an idiot that decided to Woolwax my truck after having installed side steps that block the run of plugs I needed access to. Long story short, the very last bolt was coming out fine, but then started to spin free. I can move it back and forth in the hole about 1/4”, but it will not come out. My assumption is that the blue Loctite grabbed enough to break the threaded insert loose. Just wondering if anyone has a tip for fixing this issue. My guess is there’s no fix for an insert once it breaks loose. Thanks for any help/advice.

What sucks is trying to drill it out while it spins very frustrating.

If your lucky someone else can maybe hold it from moving while you drill.

    If not torch time .

Either try and drill it out and install a rivnut, or holesaw through the floor from inside the cab and get it that way. Either way won't be fun. Good luck
