Anybody been out to the rolls lately. I was out there last night and they have put closed area signs at the base of every hill, pretty much the entire playground is closed off, and all the hills at the first couple coves are closed. The only challenging spot I could find that was still open is the crack. This sucks, it was one of my favorite places to offroad really close to the valley.

Just a bunch of old crap
When I was working with the rangers out at Bartlett/7 Springs, they said the whole department was pushing hard to restrict some of the damaging off-roading sites around the state. This could be part of that just now kicking in out there. Bummer.

It's not completely closed all the official trails are still open, and there are all really well marked now with trail signs everywere. They have put closed area signs on all the hills that aren't an official trail. For example if you come in from butcher jones the playground area were you cut across to cove 1 from butcher jones is closed off , and both of the steep hills on both sides of cove 1 are closed off. You can still go out there and have some fun but there's no longer any place a Prerunner can't go.
