Just heard the Hogs back between Quincy and Laporte. 1 lane is open and icy. The gate is open.

    Mud!
I wouldn't touch the lake because California thinks it's a crime worse than murder to dig in the lake.
I've been in that store a few thousand times. Joey the owner is very knowledgeable in most types of gold hunting. Plenty of things for all, both in that store and in Oroville. Just saddens me to see some of the rif RAF there now.

Now? been like that for years, they have that weed money now and buy all the nice stuff in the woods and destroy it to grow. Downtown has been on a good up turn as of when I last lived there 2008ish. South side will always be south side, my wife and I are looking to leave the bay soon and have been eyeing Chico as she likes it has a Target and Costco. Still not sure about that area as I only used to go there to shop and dine.

I am in Paradise now and frequent Oroville. I would move back to the foothills near Oroville I love it. Chico? Nah I'm good! I love Paradise though. I am a logger for the past 16 years and it's in the pines or timberline that I feel serine.

Oh good you actually have an education. I went to Las Plumas there in Oroville and it needed better people for teachers there.

Finished cutting firewood already for the season, only two cords this year, all Doug Fir, the second best in the area after Oak. Had a nice half cord on the other morning, today only 1/4 cord. The springs were sad the other day. Neighbors dome in the background. The rows of wood along side the truck are from a couple trees I had taken down a few weeks ago, what a mess, one a snag 10' from my mobilehome.
