Anyone know if there is a push button out there that fits in the stock usb/ data port location under the have controls in the ‘21? I’m relocating my data port up into my 3tpam and want to use that spot for an aux button

There a lot. They are generally called the Toyota 'small' buttons. See ch4x4.com or aironboard.com .

Weirdly it is a slightly different size , not as tall as the other switches right next to it, I bought a Camry switch but it is too small, frustrating

Sorry about that. I swapped in an @MESO lower switch panel and had no issues with that one.

I'll try to search out some 2021 interior pics.

It's not a great pic, but zoomed in, it does look like a different size. WTF, Toyota!?

    This is from a 2020:

    Very stupid!

That sucks. The slider switch is a crazy mystery also. I hope you get it sorted out soon. It should be easy to find someone that wants your LSP.

Yeah I have actually a couple different switch panels I need to get rid of, a couple of the left side panels custom made for the auxbeam 8 gang sp, one is super nice quality the other is acceptable , not as nice, are you allowed to post up items for sale on here?

Thanks! I was able to get it in just taking plunge cuts with a utility knife from the front side. Cut small and shave it just large enough to fit.

You need 50 quality posts before posting in the BST section. You're close!

Copy that. Did you use hot glue on you lsp? I may try to just use mine and try to shoehorn the stupid slider control in, I bought a spare dash panel off one of these car parts online dealers so I would not have to chop up my original panel in case it didn’t work out

I used JB Quik Weld. It worked great. Hot glue doesn't give you enough time before it cools, IMHO.

The problem is tearing all of your dash apart to get the panel out.

Yeah I’m kinda waiting until I can get a stealth knob and I’m looking at either taco tunes or oem audio plus for a speaker upgrade/am/sub. Then I’ll just gut the whole interior and do it all at once, I’ve got a giant box of parts sitting in the house gathering dust, my wife keeps making fun of me but I’m just not quite there yet o_O

BTDT. I have a few mods that I have been too lazy about.

That would give you a good opportunity to toss down sound insulation also.

Out of curiosity, I wonder if a Tundra back glass button would work. I had one on my Tundra before I got my Tacoma and I seem to recall it being larger than the tacoma slider button. Obviously it would show the window going down instead of the side to side slider but if the button is larger and would fit, I wonder if the connections are the same. The other option would be a 4runner rear glass button. Different shape but it may fit the connection and space as well. I don't know tho just a thought.

Off topic but how the heck do you change your “vehicle description” on your profile? Just realized I’m still showing my old gen 2

    Seriously!

I know all too well that designers can get their hands tied, but dang.
