Hey everyone! Just wanted to get opinions, I dented the hell out of my TRD sport wheel. My question is if anybody had any experience with a wheel repair price, or would it make more sense just to buy a new wheel. Thanks for the input!

I would just get a new one. Arnt trd sport wheels alloy? Pretty impressive that you dented the side of em since that is their strong point and weak point is the center.

Replace! I wouldn’t trust fixing an alloy wheel.

Noted! I didn’t know that alloy wheels don’t repair well. Thank you.

Amazing it didn't crack. Usually aluminum will crack if it flexes that much. I'd say replace. If it's steel you could repair.

Get a new wheel. If straightened aluminum will sometimes crack due to stress over a period of time. I would just get another wheel.

I would get a new wheel and then scrap the old one.

You cannot straighten aluminum like that. First, you can't heat it up to bend it. Next, when it bent, it stretched and deformed so even if you could bend it back it would be too big lol. Last, it's gonna crack as soon as you find a big enough hammer to swing at it.
Buy a new one. Better yet, buy all four of mine just like that sitting in my garage.

Fixable? Yes. Would it be just worth buying a replacement or a nice used one? Yes.
We use to fix aluminum wheels in far worse shape, but it wasn't cheap nor did we ever guarantee against leaks or take liability. It's playing a constant game of careful heating, beating, welding on repeat.

Carelessness really. My phone fell on passenger side and I leaned over to pick it up. Swerved slightly and BOOM. I wish it was a better story.

It is repairable, but will cost almost as much as new wheel. That sucks!

Does your spare have the same wheel? If so just put the dented one as a spare and save a few bucks.

The place I used to bring mine had a thing you need to sign that you understand they could end up cracking the wheel and they are not responsible nor paying to replace it.

And it was about $250 a wheel.
This was for fixing BBS ch-r wheels though

Without a doubt, get a new wheel. Aluminum will eventually crack, it's a wonder it didn't break already! Good idea on checking the spare for a possible match.
